I can try, but i think the files you provide are good, because i can ear some beeps over the BIOS options... when i press some keys on Keyboard.
And i have reaction on LEDs of Keyboard, all seems fine... but there's still no image... could be an EC problem ?
dGPU or LCD ?
If it was LCD should send signal to external no ?...

Thanks for your help, i already use these files.
It makes some difference but not work at all.
With this i have CAPS and NUM Lock Reaction on Interna and External Keyboard but no image on external HDMI or VGA and internal display.
Already replaced the RAM sticks for working one... nothing.

Hello everyone, maybe some of you will recognize this issue or thread posted on another platform but i still want to keep trying to solve or get some valid possbile issue.
Well i have an ThinkPad T450s with motherboard NM A301 REV1.0 (i5 CPU).
So this laptop power on, but it does't show any signs of image displayed on his internal display and external VGA neither, only a full black screen appears without backlight.
When i press power on, keyboard backlight bright on and then goes of, i try to use a external USB keyboard and no CAPS and no NUM LOCK.

Well, machine seems to power on, but only gives me a full black screen no backlight, no caps no num lock on internal or external keyboard.
I measure some points on LVDS connector i have the 3.3V and 20V.
LID Switch seems ok, 3.3V and when i put magnet on him drops to 0V so it's fine.

Yes correct it drives the small transformer I believe it is 5V transformer.

MacBook Pro - A1398 - No Display
Hello, guys i have here one MacBook Pro A1398 with a logic board 820-3662-03.
This logic board won't have dGPU so it's an Intel CPU and GPU model.
I solved one issue with no Green and Orange light with help of piernov, resoldering the U7000 IC.
But now i have a second problem to try to solve...
I don't have display as well backlight on internal display.
So machine power on nice, charges well, all is in function and i have image on external HDMI port.
But i don't have internal display never... i measure and search... -

So Q901 is one STD6N62K3
I took it out from the board and i measure continuity mode.
I get Beep between PIN 1 = Gate and Pin 3 = Source.
And linked to it i have that two resistors we talked.
I think they are bad... but don't know the value... of it...
One i think was labled 3R0 = 3Ohm
And the other no label possible to discover ... schematic would be important.

Well because it s bad look... I can't know the print or the value... When I measure it no beep but give me O.L MOhm....
Another resistor with bad look is on that area as well that you can see in picture.
Is one 3R0... Well I know its one 3Ohm resistor...
I will find one...

Ok I will try but it will be easier if you point me on pictures where I can plug the bulb... And make the test.
I get on big caps when power is plugged around 300V putting the BLK probe on heatsink (think is GND of AC side) and RED probe on big caps.
I test diode mode... Continuity mode, resistor mode and seems all fine.
But I don't know how to really test or measure the transformers....Leave a comment:
