Vizio P50hdm plasma TV turns on then off

I have a Vizio P50hdm plasma TV, and when I turn it on it turns off after 2 seconds. Using my multimeter, I tested the standby voltage and it read 5 volts which is shown on the board. The standby light does turn on in the front of the TV so that tells me standby voltage is fine. Then, I tested the Vs and Va voltages and they were very low. The sticker on the TV says that the Vs is 196V, and the Va is 60V. After that, I tried disconnecting the X and Y sustain boards one at a time but the TV still shuts down. I would assume that it's the power supply that's the problem. Do you think it is the power supply that needs to be replaced, or do you think it's something else? I don't see any bulged capacitors or physical damage on the boards. I also tested the fuses and replaced one that was bad, but that didn't help.

Photos of the complete rear internals of the set to identify the base-chassis used are needed.

        Base-chassis is an LG set--summit like a 50PC1DA or 50X3.

Usual issues with these are the IPM Modules on both the Y-SUS and X-SUS. These are the Hybrid modules under the large heatsinks of both boards--4 IPM's in all, Any one will cause this sort of fault.

They are a Bugger to change without damaging the PCB's if you havent the correct equipment and are expensive to buy.
New ones are Not available--Only S/H--Regardless of what the Vendors say.

Suggest you trace the fault down to which board has the dead IPM--And replace the whole board complete.

Vizio D50u-D1 Dead Set No Standby
          by fharris1977
Hi. I got a Vizio with no power or standby, and won't turn on with remote or button. I checked the voltages on the connector and all read 0.00V or nearly 0(0.050 ON/OFF pin). None of the pins are labeled STB for standby although I do see some 5V pins. Other than the obvious standby led, which isn't coming on, is there a way to check for standby voltage on this PS. I'm trying to see if my problem is the PS or mainboard. Some Vizios I have fixed with no standby led me to think it was the PS but it turned out being the mainboard. Any experience with this set would be greatly appreciated.

LG 60PN6500 Plasma with standby, but won't power up.
          by XCon
Symptom is TV has standby, I get relay click, voltage rails come up, but no screen and TV shuts down after 5 seconds. If I disconnect the Z from the y sus, the unit stays powered up and I can read voltages.

So I've read the two other threads on this TV and I can confirm the Y-Sus #EAX64789501 does not have diode or resister failure. Did not see any fractured solder joints on the transformer or anywhere else. All power boards have slight discoloration on the hot spots.

The board in question is EAX64789601, Z board. I have 208 going to Y Sus, 5v standby. Pin 5 on P174 connector...

Vizio E701i-A3 Vizio logo flashing then turns off
          by Super360
Ok so here's the story. I was watching tv one day when all of a sudden I heard a pop from the back of the tv set and rushed to unplug the set. By this time the tv already had smoke coming out the back. It was not storming or inclement weather that day to cause a power surge to the best of my abilities. When I opened the tv up, I found that the three capacitors on the psu (highlighted in red) were all bulging and looked they had exploded. I replaced all of them right away and when I went to start up the tv after the "fix" it started just showing the flashing vizio logo as soon as power...
