Ive coreboot'd my T520Things I've fixed: anything from semis to crappy Chinese $2 radios, and now an IoT Dildo....

So after using capacitor bungs to repair the rubber feet on two laptops, shown here:

… I was inevitably left with some paper rolls and cans from the Sacon FZ capacitors I “sacrificed”.
The paper rolls from these Sacon FZ caps looked absolutely bone-dry. The idea then occurred to me: what if I put a few drops of water on there? How (if at all) would that affect these already-failed capacitors?... -

Got a new victim:
AcuRite 5 in 1 Iris outdoor weather station not updating the temperature / humidity anymore. The original sensor is a SHT21. Also there are identical other sensor manufacturers. I chose the HTU21D to replace the original SHT21. Both have identical specs. I've had two failure modes with these sensors.
A: outside temp stuck at -40?
It's cold here at times in Canada, but not that cold!
B: stuck at some temperature and maybe updating once in 12 hrs or so.
Easy solution is to go to AcuRite website and purchase the sensor. Right?...

Hi guys, as per title says I need some help with a bios dump for a Hp Spectre X360 13-AW0115na, intel i7 8gb version I believe.
The laptop is powering on, the fan spinning and stays on but get no splash image or booting.
Motherboard number : DA0X3AMBAIO rev1
S/N of laptop 5CD044K49C

This is an lcd display used on ebikes.
long story short, there was condensation inside the unit.
I opened it and thoroughly cleaned the pcb with isopryl.
The board had no visible corosion.
It powered on fine and was tested for an hour or so.
However when connected to the bike,,it did not power on at all.
I took it home and reopened it to take a look. There are no shorts based on MY testing.
However,,when I probe the transistor and the mosfet gate in diode mode or contuinity mode, (one probe on transistor collector and one probe on mosfet gate}the unit...09-16-2025, 12:56 PM
