still no luck, now only getting the fan to spin, the cpu gets hot and no back light on the screen to flash, at least with the last one was getting the message to pop on the screen. will trial more things tomorrow after work but thanks for your help man. -
I did try it on, it does get the exact same splash screen error with the bios corrupted and to get to Hp web page to get a new bios. ThanksLeave a comment:

Hello guys,
Can anyone help me with a bios fix, my laptop is powering on and sometimes I do get a message on the screen that the bios is corrupted and needs updating. I have tried updating the bios downloading the newest version from Hp website and create a stick using the tool with no success.
Laptop in question is:
HP Pavilion 15-eh0511sa
S/N 5CD0522KNV
board : DAG7HAMB8E0 Rev.E
Ryzen 5 4500u

Sorry, haven't posted for a while on the forum.
The laptop is : Hp Pavilion 15-EH0002na, S/N 5CD136GV56, Board: DAG7HBMB8G0 rev: G, the symptoms are that the laptop is powering on, is charging if battery is fitted in, the fan is spinning continuously but I get no post. Swapped few ram sticks on both slots, with no luck of getting a post or CAPS to light up on boot.

The ram is soldered on this model, and no there's no sticker on it, checked it on the bottom side as well and non fitted, on the back only had the writing from the first thread, other then that I can't find any other serial numbers or anything like that on the board.Leave a comment:

Hello all, I need some help with a bios, the laptop is powering for about 3 seconds, I get a quick led flash on caps and power button after which the laptop powers back off, the chip is a XMC.
I have tried to write a new bios but no success.

Thank you Mazorca, I tried writing it, now it seem that is acting differently but still no luck, I still don't get it to post, now it seems to be stuck in a reboot sequence as I get some red flashing lights and the keyboard flashes on and off the backlight as before it was a steady keyboard light. many thanks for trying but it didn't do it for meLeave a comment:

Hello everyone, I have a Samsung machine with intel i5 12th gen that powers on, is charging, when get's hot the fan starts spinning but I get no boot, tried connecting to a external monitor with usb-c and hdmi, no luck.
I have made a copy of dump, is anyone able to help with a clean bios please.

Hello guys,
Can anyone help with a bios clean or updating my own one please. Symptoms of laptop is that it get power , fan is spinning I get power light coming up, camera and flashing light on caps button 5 times slow and 4 times fast.
This is the version of hp with i7 10 series with MX350.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Lenovo Thinkpad L380 won't turn off
Hello everyone, I have a issue with a L380 M5 , the core i3 version 8th gen.
In windows I'm telling it to shut down, it goes in to shutdown mode, but after 1-2 seconds the keyboard lights up and it starts again, tried to install a different bios on it, same problem, tried to remove all the parts, re-seat the motherboard, reconnect all the cables, force it in windows when I shut the lid to go in shut down mode, nothing. Only way to turn it off is by keeping forcing it with power button pressed for 10 sec or so.
Anyone have any idea what it might be ?
