Are they so you can watch YouTube videos a bit louder then one of the clip over the top of the laptop soundbars will do, something like http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isotech-US...-/161989169404
They are better than laptop speakers but my sensitive ears do not like them for music and I get a headache after a few minutes but then I get this with any poor quality sound.

I personally have a Kenwood amp and a pair of JBL Control One hooked up to my PC, they are magnetically shielded so no risk of damaging anything delicate.
I do like my music though and the stereo in my front room has three amps and nine speakers.

There are also the 2.1 speaker sets I see, two speakers and a sub. They give better sound than the soundbars due to the bigger speakers but aren't so portable.

I think it comes down to what do you want them for and budget.

those ones in the ebay link look ideal for now as portable too and untill a pair of speakers turns up on ebay etc or even a parts laptop cheap its certainly not worth spending loads on it as i reflowed this laptops gpu last year fault but hey still works great.

I've seen Zeus the banking malware evade both Sophos and Microsoft's enterprise endpoint software. In fact it evaded a regular scan and was only found my Malwarebytes in safe mode.
It had been on the laptop for 4 years.

thats maybe why malwarebytes did not pick some stuff up then i will try in safe mode next time.

Try GetDataBack from Runtime Software. They have different versions for FAT and NTFS. I have used it to recover .MOV (QuickTime) files off my dash cam's memory card as well as JPEGs from the SD card in my Canon S3IS.

This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                                  Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

                                  Graphics Card mounting frame
                                  by Kemer
Hello, I removed the graphics card from my laptop and I want to heat it in the oven. What I want to ask is, is it okay to heat the card without removing the metal mounting frame on it?

As you can see in the photo, there is a plastic (black) gasket between the metal frame and the card. It sticks the frame tightly to the card.

I previously removed the metal frame while heating it, but it is quite difficult to separate it from the surface it is attached to. If there is no problem, I do not want to remove it.

What worries me right now is the possibility that...

Hi guys! I realized you have a lot of knowledge here so i am hoping you could point me in right direction with my odd issue.

The Tv is a Philips 58PUS8545/12, it had no picture but working backlights.

                                  Original T-con:
Opened the Tv and tested to unplug one ribbon cable at a time. With this test i could see that i got fine picture on both halves as long as there was only one ribbon cable connected, with two connected picture were gone.

                                  First replacement T-con:

I thought it might be t-con and ordered new t-con from china(supposedly tested)...

I bought broken HP 15-dc1020nc OMEN laptop.
                                  Power on without screen.
On the board was damaged one mosfet on the GPU power line.
I change this ic but still the same. I think, that the GPU is damaged.
So I bought for 150 USD new Nvdiia chip. Still no picture.
After that, I fixure out the laptop boot into windows (welcome sound). I put external USB graphics card and the laptop works great. In device list, no GPU is listed. I'm not sure if that laptop has integrated intel gpu disabled or not.
Any idea? On the alisaler.com is bios for board and gpu, but is not...

I have an EVGA Nu Audio sound card that is not working properly and I need some help diagnosing the fault (preferably by someone who owns this card and is willing to take some measurements).

The card sort of powers up (LED lights are coming on and the relais is clicking, some voltages are present) but it is not detected in Windows. I tried installing in two different PCs and tried several driver versions but the card was never detected anyway. So I thought this is probably not a driver / software-issue and then disassembled the card to take some measurements.

                                  I found...
