    ISP blocking emails now?

    Got something new. Recently I got trouble with receiving emails and syncing OneNote. Nothing else. I still can stream 24x7, VOIP, have full speed internet, but in the world cannot receive any emails nor sync OneNote. Take the computer somewhere else to a different internet location and no problems at all. Points to the router, right? NOPE! Hooked up my computer directly to the modem (which is in bridge mode) and have the same problems! Put all the network shit back together, start my VPN provider app, choose the closed VPN server to me and all the problems are gone! Is the ISP really blocking emails? Never seen this before. If someone would have told me this, I would have bitch slapped him all day!

    insist on a discout for "reduced service" just to get a response from the fuckers

      🤔 reduced service,.. I used something similar when we didn't have any internet for a week, back something like 12 years ago. I think I am going to get them to let them fiddle with my modem so it gets a new IP address assigned and that hopefully takes care of the problem.

          It's a third party provider cable provider. Today the issue rectified itself and all is o.k. However a few days ago I saw fiber optic being installed along my road... Time for a healthy Mbit boost! :-)
