nice they include choice of xp home greek or english when you install. there is a whole bunch of foreigners here and also some greeks who want english windows and with some laptop manufacturers it is a special order????

its a really good looking laptop which has everything except it has intel 950 onboard graphics. unfortunately the screen is one of those reflective ones and it is goddamn reflective. i didnt like that really.....gigabit would have been nice also...

its all very shiny....you get a cloth to clean it....

If it was built-to-order, it uses Quanta's LCDs. If it was a pre-built one by HP, then it uses Samsung's LCDs. That's a really nice laptop. The BTO choice lets you choose whether to have glossy or not. HP's really repositioning itself. It looks like it's marketing against Apple.

I have always hated those touch pads.
What ever happened to the trackball?

well thats good. i would personally buy one if it was not glossy. must be nice to work in hp laptop sales these days, the guy in the next desk wants to buy one too now.

they also have the Pavilion dv6181ea with same casing, similar spec and including the NVIDIA GeForceGo 7400 256MB TC for 1159 euro.

well id rather have the touch pad than a stick. trackballs are nice in rackmount keyboards. actually the surface of this touchpad is not so slippery as the usual ones. its very accurate indeed. unfortunately all that silver coating we know what happens to that after a few years (wears off)

Yeah just look at any used touchpad laptop on ebay see what happens when you "use" them.
