Caig makes Deoxit D5 and they also make Shield. I use Deoxit first and when it's clean I shoot some shield in there.sigpicThe Sky Is Falling

I have use that pencil for many months and even up to date I believe that it is a small miracle.
I have test it on CPU contacts, SIM cards, memory modules, memory cards, all that it does is to remove any build up corrosion.
What it can not do is smoothing an damaged metal surface and this is a proof to me that is not working as abrasive.
It does also miracles on battery contacts of all sort of devices, even in my digital camera which use AA NIMH and there is no space to insert in that battery holder any other tool than this pencil.
I am recommending it 100% as solution but my vote goes to the specific product vendor.Comment

CDS‑200B ultrasonic cleaner - AKA James Ultra 7050 etc.
There are many versions of cheap Chinese ultrasonic cleaners, and a fair few share this design, with a removable tank with handle. There are also fixed tank versions which look to use the same basic layout and presumably the same PCBs.
I picked one up "spares or repair" on ebay, and the cleaner was dead, but the fuse wasn't blown.
A quick diode check revealed D7 was shorted. D7 is a 12V 1/2 Watt Zener. I had one in my stash, so this was about as close to a "five minute repair" as...06-23-2025, 03:22 AM -

I have had an iROBOT i7 with a camera error (error 68) version REV M, year 2018.
I bought a liquid damaged Mainboard with WiFi module, from the same vacuum cleaner, but a different year and a different version (REV G).
(This board does not respond, only the LEDs light up in a circle.
The liquid damage is catastrophic and restoration is impractical).
(I bought this board to get the WiFi module and camera).
The boards are completely different in the installation of elements, even the connector for the WiFi module is different.

I got a huawei D15 that came in for no power repair. Device charges , charging led flashedms but doesn't turn on. I found corrosion on an IC (ic name is BDJCY1...I can't find out much info about it online). I removed this ic and two pads are corroded but they can be repaired. To my knowledge inductors never short to ground (i might be wrong and please those that are more knowledgeable than me can correct me). I found few inductors short to ground when my multimeter is in beep mode ,indicating a short in the line of those inductors...but I don't know how to go about to find the shorted component... -
hi guys bought a ambiano eletric window cleaner from a charity shop had a full charge when i bought it ran fine went to charge it and it wont charge the chargers fine so had a look at the motherboard.in the picture i have continuity from the charging port negative pin to the 2 negative points matked in black on the board.but on the posotive side i only have continuity to the first red point marked in the picture not at the second marked point.any ideas.... -
Hello, a "hp 15s-eq0012np" arrived to me, the only problem with it is that the contact points on the "type C" charger input were torn off. Can anyone tell me what the purpose of each "leg" of the connector is? Which ones are really necessary for it to charge the battery and turn on?
