    Re: Most Expensive 360W PSU?

It's a Seasonic - I'd never put them in the same category as those Chinese power supplies.

    My own computer shows these:

    Code:

    Voltage Values
    CPU Core	1.040 V
    +2.5 V	1.472 V
    +3.3 V	3.376 V
    +5 V	4.973 V
    +12 V	12.288 V
    +5 V Standby	3.602 V
    VBAT Battery	3.200 V
    GPU Core	1.082 V
It's a Seasonic X-650. Of course the 5v standby is not 3.6v ... the sensor reading is simply stupid.

          Really?
That's pretty impressive, that PC must have a very good VRM
How long have you had it?
Post some pics of it here:

Cooler Master 500W atx psu repair. Total cannot start at all
              by anikin73
I am attempting to repair this. Circuit is quite simple, but i a quite stuck at it for a long time. so today i try to ask for new ideas. my challenge is to under stand what mistake i made. I had repaired not lesson than 50 pcs of various brands ATX psu . main pwm chip is Cm 6805 Sip 9 .
5VSB is fine. When I short Pson, totally nothing happen. I check , the Cm 6805 VCC pin2 did have 16v, But totally nothing happen. I changed to a good chip from another good PSU. Same thing.
What other pin should I check such that it will result in no start up at all ?

              OCZ Mod X-Stream Pro 600
              by Hondaman
I have an OCZ Mod X-Stream Pro 600 (semi-modular). One transformer is dated "1215" and one is dated "1210", and the largest capacitor (slightly bulging 400V TEAPO) is labeled "03/12", so yes it's pretty old. A few nights ago it caused the circuit breaker to cut off the power. It was plugged into an APC UPS, that appears to be undamaged.

When I reset the circuit breaker, the power supply fan did not even twitch. When I got a low-hour Seasonic PSU out of my basement, my system started right back up, so the rest of the system was not damaged.

Came across this famous Korean brand PSU (but made in China) with a strange problem that I have never encountered before.

It can start, and aside from 5VSB which is spot on, the rest of the output voltages are off the chart.

              12V is 11.2V

              5V is 5.9V

3.3V is 300mV (or you could also say no 3.3V)

primary caps (2x 820uF 200V connected in series), one reads 68V, and the other one reads 34V.

any idea what to look? obviously primary side has an imbalance and under voltage issue.

I wonder why the protection (GR8313)...
