    lamp with expensive bulb go out?dont toss it mod it!

    got this free.
    takes a wierd bulb that costs $25+ delivered.
    hmmm aluminum reflector?
    perfect heatsink for 6 luxeon k2 led's.
    they are set up in 3 pairs of 2 with 10 ohm 2w resistor in series with each pair.runs from 12v now so useful for power right off +12 in the pc or off my solar setup.even runs several hours off a 4ah pack i use with my ft-817.

          yes.
          it was in the shop for the gamer kids to take their avatar pics with.they are trying to look mean.
          ak needs a trigger kit to fix kickback.

                      the guy that donated it came back and saw what i did.he is also studying to get his ham ticket.and has a modded 12v ups with a powerpole panel in it.he wanted it back so he got it for about what the parts cost.got 2 of the small ones with the little halogen bulb in them.they get modded next.

                          LUMIMAN Smart Bulb IC ID?

                          Hi,

                          I have a LUMIMAN Smart Bulb that suddenly stopped lighting one day. The bulb is still detected in the app, but won't light. I've probed around and nothing seems to look off with any of the diodes, caps or resistors. The Bluetooth/Wi-Fi module seems to be working as it's still detected in the app. I even tried deleting and re-pairing the bulb (it didn't light, but I was still able to follow the pairing instructions), it re-paired fine, but still no light.

                          In diode mode, the LEDs all light up when probed so I'm guessing this means the LEDs themselves are OK. I was expecting...

                          TOSHIBA DLP 52HM95 How to reset timer module on bulb

                          I replaced the bulb only on my Toshiba DLP The bulb is a TB-25. This is the first time I've done a bulb only replacement. Supposedly there is a timer module that needs to be re-calibrated or reset. I don't know where the module is located. I see some vendors selling the bulb with the housing stating module included which leads me to think the module is located inside the enclosure the bulb mounts in, but I didn't see it. Maybe it's inside the plug attached to the bulb?

                          Anyway - I am seeking information on how to reset this so called module so that the lamp will operate. Apparently...

                          Hoping someone here can put me on the right track. I'm trying to troubleshoot/flowchart the "internal projector error" on my newly acquired Facebook Marketplace bought Epson 5040UB projector (3LED, not DLP). Owner said it needed new lamp, actually error code blink pattern indicates "Internal Projector Error, call Epson support". Unit is out of warranty as of 8/19

                          Here's what happens:

                          1) Power on
                          2) Blue power indicator lights and the lens cover motor opens the lens cover, light fan noise heard
                          3) Blue status light flashes for appx 4 minutes...

                          Hi All.

                          Does anyone have any reference materials or something I can use to try troubleshooting a BenQ TH681? Google unfortunately has turned up zip. I did find a service manual for a W series BenQ but that is pretty much useless, it's more a glorified user manual. A list of voltages would be great as I suspect my mainboard is faulty, the colour wheel voltage is not dipping like it should.

                          The one I am troubleshooting now was originally overheating after a lamp replacement. It originally would take 2 minutes or so for it to shut off and blink the temp and lamp lights...

                          Hi,

                          This monitor previously is my main working monitor which i have been using for 8~9 years. Yesterday, when i switched on my pc from fresh to power on, the monitor is just black no display. I started dismantle to look inside the monitor power board but nothing looks suspicious or burnt. So i took my external ccfl inverter to try to power the monitor ccfl lamps which consisted of 2 lamps on upper part and 2 lamps on the lower part.

                          Found out the upper ccfl lamp which is supposed to connect to cn304 on the power board did not light up. Then i installed a used working...
