Re: Identify component marked K72
It burnt because there was too much current going through the mosfet. likely a short on one side of the mosfet.
You have provided a photo of the bad part, We have no idea what it is on so how can we help troubleshoot it?Last edited by R_J; 08-25-2021, 02:37 PM.Comment

Re: Identify component marked K72
It is on a circuit board for a robot lawn mower. The component is for the engine control. After a short period of operation, the part will be named. Is it possible that it burns out due to a production defect in the component? When I have the circuit board back on the table, I take complete picturesLast edited by joe025; 08-25-2021, 02:45 PM.Comment

by ManiackkHello,
Device: PocketBook InkPad 3
Mainboard: XRZ_E091_PB740-VTTOA-V1.1 / 2017-10-12
I'm replacing the broken microUSB connector on this e-reader, and during inspection after desoldering, I noticed a loose black SMD component marked "CT". One of them was torn off along with the pad, while the other one (marked in the photo) is still in place.
I would appreciate help identifying this component.
Measuring the loose component with a multimeter gives 5.84 MΩ in both directions, while the one still on the board shows no measurable...2 Photos -

by GentianI am not able to identify this element marked A22020. Some short indexes suggest it is a n-channel mosfet or a pnp transistor. I measured it and it looks to have only a very small capacitance between pins 2 and 3. Any suggestion would be very important. In my experience whatever it should be a dead component. The device is a level radar which looks no current consumption although 12V and 3.3v are ok at MCU and in the circuit but no data transmission?...
