    Hi,
Does anyone with experience on Lelon and Teapo could advice which one is better?

Teapo is generally better. But why bother, when there's plenty of high quality Japanese stuff going around, including solid polymers?

      Re: Lelon versusTeapo/Luxon

They are both horrible brands, but out of those two, Teapo are probably better. Lelon were common on AOpen motherboard and almost always fail there. Teapo are unreliable on motherboards and will often fail without any visible signs but are sometimes OK in power supplies. But as I said at first, both are to be avoided, especially given how cheap and easily obtainable good caps like rubycon are.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards

IBM NetVista Pentium III - USI Motherboard w/ Teapo SC
          by iMic
          Hi folks,

I have a couple of IBM NetVista desktop computers from around 2000-2001. They have Universal Scientific Industrial (USI) Pro286i motherboards, 733MHz Pentium III processors, and a whole bunch of bad Teapo capacitors. One board has visibly bad and venting capacitors, while the other doesn't look too bad so far.

The board with venting caps works fine, while the good looking board occasionally refuses to power on unless it's left for about 30 seconds after connecting the power - even with a known good power supply. (I am however aware I'll need to check the PSU...

          MainBoard: 17MB95M
          Panel: VES400UNDS-2D-NO3

When the set came in it was dead. Fuse was open primary side and the power mosfet was shorted. So I ordered a new power supply. Now it turns on, only displays "Hitachi" and then power off red and blue led flashing.

I had to modify the 0ohm resistors in the led backlight of the new PS like the original power supply.
Is there any variants on 17IPS71 power supply's?

Capacitors of the same make/series that consistently fail in one amplifier while they rarely fail in a different make amp
          by Perry Babin
This is for car audio amplifiers but I doubt that matters. There are amplifiers that use the same make/series capacitor as a different manufacturer and they consistently fail in one brand. In the other they are OK. The amplifiers are from the same era. Is it possible that the heating profile used when flow-soldering the boards could be the reason for the failure? If not, any ideas on what the difference could be?

Dell Inspiron 5775 bios locked "Unlock Setup fail"

After generating the Password Recovery code, I go to the “Security” tab - “Locked Settings” - it says “Unlock Settings? I tried many wrong passwords and it shows an error to unlock settings [ Press any key ].
          What I did:
          I read the bios dump.
Downloaded the bios update to 1.6.0 from the official Dell website, extracted the dump from it, updated the bios, but the problem persisted. Please help me to solve the problem....
