    help me identify a capacitor

    Hello,
i would appreciate it if anyone could tell me what is the voltage and capacitance of this cap, this is written on it "330R 560 6RF^",
    a picture is attached.
    thank you very much.

Re: help me identify a capacitor

Looks like a teapo/ost/unknown my guess would be 560uf 6.3v
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Re: help me identify a capacitor

It's a 560uF capacitor. The voltage is most likely 6.3v or 10v because I see the same capacitor used right by the usb header and usb works with 5v.

It's a polymer capacitor, a good chance it's a nichicon fp-cap (functional polymer) based on the red color (but usually you'd see FP written on it so like selldoor says maybe it's another brand) but any polymer capacitor with that diameter and low esr will work.

thanks selldoor, i'll replace it now with 560uf and see what happens.

these cheap motherboards are pretty popular here in Jordan and they give me a headache.

Capacitor detached from PCB – RTX 2070 Super Founders Edition

            Description:
During maintenance on an RTX 2070 SUPER Founders Edition, I found a capacitor lying on my desk after reassembly.
I did not notice it detaching, so I am unsure of its original location on the PCB.

            Procedure performed:
            - Removed backplate
            - Cleaned heatsink and PCB with isopropyl alcohol + soft ESD brush
            - Reapplied thermal compound
            - Reassembled card

            Observed behavior after reassembly:
            - GPU powers on and operates normally under...

Help to identify a laptop mainboard SMD capacitor LA-9982P
            by BlackBurn
            Hello everyone,

I have an Dell Inspiron 15 3537 laptop mainboard (LA-9982P Rev. 3.0 (A02)) with a blown SMD capacitor as shown in the attached images. However, there is no printed specifications near the capacitor or a codename for the capacitor to identify the specification of the capacitor to replace it. I wonder how to identify the capacitor since the mainboard schematics are also useless as the capacitors are not named on the board. Any help would be highly appreciated.

            Thank You. Stay Safe.

Dick Smith Q-1760 linear power supply filter capacitor question
            by Agent24
I have acquired a used Dick Smith Q-1760 power supply - although the OEM is Manson Industrial
It has at least one problem.

The voltage control potentiometer VR2, 50K is faulty - going high resistance / open circuit in the CCW end and leading to the output voltage jumping around.
I have already ordered a replacement potentiometer, so that's not an issue.

Now, I want to replace all three electrolytics on the PCB as they are CapXon and I don't trust them so much, I will replace them with something better while I've got the thing apart anyway.
            All are CapXon...

If I replace with inferior capacitor, Is it No harm to other IC components at all?
            by chth96
I replaced some capacitor which is located on optical pickup pcb which is shown in the table below(PCB #2).Because it have been out of order.
Now,It works very well,But I just have found that all caps (6svpc100my and other part number as well) ,which is shown in the table below, has ultra-high ripple current spec.
It is not able to obtain any capacitor which can be a substitute for this ultra-high ripple current nichicon capacitor.
So I replaced it with samxon and rubycon's general capacitor(GP,YXA series).
I know that these capacitor will not last as long as nichicon capacitor...

How can I test non-polarized capacitor?
            by chth96
I desoldered samwha NF capacitor(50v 5.6uf) from PCB circuit of 29inch CRT TV which have symptoms of no display after I heard sound of inrush of current to TV whenever I switch on this television.
I measured ESR value of this non-polarized capacitor(samwha NF capacitor 50v 5.6uf) by means of MESR-100 ESR meter and It displayed 0.3 ohm

And When I measured its capacitance with digital multimeter and LCR-T4 Mega328 meter, It displayed 10uf from DMM and 8uf from LCR-T4 meter.
I found catalogue of samwha capacitor(samwha-catalogue_3.pdf file), which is attached to this thread,...
