Is it no harm to replace with capacitor without ripple current rating?

When I tried to repair LG 29 inch CRT TV, I found that the ESR value of samyoung SMS capacitor(160v 2.2uf), which is very close to D1879 transistor, is 6 ohm.

Judging from above ESR Meter Table,I think It is necessary to replace this sms capacitor. So I visited local electronics shop, and I purchased 160v 2.2uf rubycon YK capacitor.
But when I browse through rubycon YK datasheet,I found that there is no ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf specification. But On the contrary, I found 39 mA ripple current rating for 160v 2.2uf SMS capacitor.

all caps have ripple handling - i dont know why they didnt list it

I always replace bad capacitor with "a capacitor which has higher or same difference ripple current rating",If it is located in SMPS PCB.
But Is it OKAY to replace with "a capacitor with a lot lower ripple current rating", which is adjacent to D1879 transistor in COLD area of PCB?

i doubt ripple matters or they would have used a 4.7uf or higher

but in future for low value high voltage you should look at Rubicon LLE series

If I remember correctly, SamYoung SMS series are general purpose capacitors... as are Rubycon YK series. So in cases like that, I rarely bother to look into the datasheet. If there is any difference in RC, it's going to be too small to matter - just IME.

yea i thought if its a gp cap, they (the manufacturer) wont bother displaying the esr value in the datasheet since esr value typically is irrelevent for gp use cases. it only lists the esr value for low esr rated or better caps. now i see cap manufacturers have gotten lazier too and dont bother displaying the ripple value even for gp caps!!
