This is not a fake Chemicon, it is genuine
Many companies are outsourcing to Chinese factories.

Whoa does this mean we need to add chemicon to the ban list? Or is the place you got them from just reusing packaging?

Outsourcing is common because heavy tariffs are imposed when importing parts that can be produced in China into China. Or, if a factory is built in China, 51% must be owned by a Chinese company or government

Aris says TK, Panasonic, Teapo, and Rubycon are made in ChengX. They are for ATX PSUs with factories in China

The last Rubycon caps I bought were made in Japan, but I did have the feeling that a lot of these cap brands were outsourcing (or at least using the same suppliers for materials).

              Macbook A2179 820-01958

              Hi,
Have a Macbook A2179 with liquid damage. Customer showed it some shop which has done an ultrasonic cleaning of the board.
The board pulls 0V but doesnt turn on. No Fan SPIN. NOT IN DFU.

I checked the Power Sequences below and found this -

Once a valid external power source (Charger or battery) is connected, the following rails will come online.
PPBUS_G3H: Normal voltage is ~12.6v on the charger with the battery disconnected. Produced from the ISL9240 (U7000, which uses PPDCIN_G3H as its VIN.
PP3v3_G3H_RTC: Normal voltage is ~3.3v. Produced...

OCZ Powerstream PSU (Fuhjyyu 3300uF 10V)
              by Kleist
              Hello,

I have an old OCZ Powerstream 520W PSU I would like to keep using. It works currently, but I opened it up and found some bulging caps which have me worried, I would like to replace these. There are:

              4x Fuhjyyu 3300uF 10V

What could I replace these with? Where could I buy replacements that ship to Germany?

              Thanks!...

              Fuhjyyu 3300uF 35V TNR Replacement
              by golfather
              Hi all

Currently have a slight hum coming from my PC speakers when power is connected. Not audible when music is high volume but only on low volumes you can hear it in the background. Have a ferrite core on power lead but no difference.

System is a TEAC Powermax 1300 - same as Hercules XPS2.100 system

Checked the caps visually but none are bulging

Have been advised to change the main rectifier cap which is currently a Fuhjyyu 3300uF 35V 18x32mm (not sure what pitch, probably 7.5mm)

Is there a decent replacement anyone can...

              Macbook display shortage in China?
              by reformatt
Aftermarket screen prices have jumped for all Apple laptop display assemblies recently. I got something in Chinglish from a supplier on Whatsapp:

Latest news on supply of Macbook screen with top covers

              1. Industry inside news: macbook screen with top covers with logo won't be restocked in the short term. The product selling now are all from the factories existing inventory. No factory will dare to produce new products in the short term. First come, first served.

              2. The supply of Macbook LCD only is normal and will not be affected by this goverment interview...

              Lenovo Ideapad3 NM-C821 faulty motherboard
              by nrj1982
              Hello all,

I have a Lenovo Ideapad3 laptop, that has recently stopped working. When pressing the power button, the led is going on, but nothing else is happening.

I have checked the 3.3V, 5V and 20V - all of them seem present (checked with multimeter and oscilloscope in order to verify that they are stable).
              I have checked the voltages around PU1901 - 0.9V, 1.8V, 5V, 2.5v, 0.6V and 1.2V - all of them are present.

Now going further in the debug, I found that the CPU voltages produced by RT3662AC (PU5901) PWM driver are missing. I can see that the 20V...
