My work throws away (pays to recycle) our broken obsolete electronics. I grabbed a couple of NEC monitors and decided I would see if I could fix them. They all show bad caps. I replaced the caps on two and they work great and gave them out at work so they could use dual monitors. Anyway I opened another NEC (rebranded Benq) and noticed the following 3 caps. The two on the left are 1000uF but the silver only says 1000 16v. I assumed this was 1000F but I wanted to get your opinion since I don't want to put the wrong type in. Here is a pic of the caps with an insert of the same type of cap elsewhere on the board. Sorry if pic is too large.

That Nichicon HD will be fine, but you can use a larger can-size cap with higher voltage if you have the space, maybe a Panasonic FC 1000/25v instead. There's also a fair chance that every Lelon on the board will also fail eventually, so you might as well replace them now.

Thanks I replaced all 3 and now the monitor works. I don't have enough caps to replace all of them but I will order them Monday. Looks like someone will be getting dual monitors at work in about a week.
This one was a NEC Multisync 1720M (Made by Benq)
