simple q, how to identify replacement cap

I have a bad cap on a raid controller card from a dell server (the model of the card is "UCS-51").

The cap in question says "Sanyo 1500uf 6.3v", and also "105C S.E.65 WF"

Can you guys help me with what replacement I should buy?

    Thanks.

Oddly enough you need to replace it with a 1500uf 6.3v 105C cap.
A picture of it would help and the size height /diameter and fitting type
Have you done a google search on "Sanyo 1500uf 6.3v", and also "105C S.E.65 WF"

Re: simple q, how to identify replacement cap

Well, I wasn't sure as it seems to me like there are many other factors besides the uF and the voltage, like I don't really know what electrolytic vs polymer or low ESR and series names and all this other stuff means.

For example I saw this other thread and it confused me -- it is asking about exactly 1500uF and 6.3v yet the answers do not seem straightforward at all: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9924

Also I did try googling the entire name but the "SE 65 WF" part never seems to figure into the results. So there are a lot of different caps that fit the uf/v bill but not sure about the rest of the specs.

Here is a pic. I guess the cap itself is blurry but all it says is what I previously stated. Also, the size seems to be about 10mm dia and 13mm height.

      Thanks

Re: simple q, how to identify replacement cap

Oh and let me add that I previously did this replacement on the same board in a different server, but I kind of blindly ordered the replacement cap without really knowing what I was doing.

The repair seemed to work but the exact cap I bought is not available anymore. I bought it on this site in fact, it was called "1500uF 6.3v 10mm ZL Series", that's all it says on my order history. So now I only see this one and this out of stock one.

        Will the "HZ" series do?

I am pretty sure The HZ will do - I would be inclined to send an enquiry - refer to this forum entry and TC will advise - He may not get to read the thread.

Also in another thread is the datasheet for the WF so you can compare

Trouble to identify part (Lunii screen) for replacement
                by FreakyMex
Hello guys. I'm a complete noob in electronics. I'd like to repair my child Lunii's (a "story box"), basically an audio player that allows the childs to choose between several options the places, characters, objects of the story, and then play a story according to the choice of the child. There is a screen that display the selected option before each choice. The Lunii fell and the screen is now broken.
I'd like to repair it (probably just have to change the part, because the lunii still works perfectly fine) but I can't manage to identify the part/order it online. Do you have any...

                Identify replacement diode
                by jezzaaaa
I'm trying to find a replacement diode for one that has gone short.

I have a generic USB charger that went short circuit to ground on 5V. I found that one of a pair of identical diodes in parallel (and in series with transformer secondary winding) has gone short in both directions, so I suspect it's bad. The marking is CSRS1045, which I believe is a low barrier Schottky with max current 10A and max reverse 45V. I found a spec sheet for CSRS1045-A that has same specs and also says 350mV drop when forward biased.

I can't find the exact part number for sale. Similar...

                MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0)
                by ssl6
                Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker, but I think this is my first time posting.

Just looking for some assistance on identifying some suitable replacement capacitors for an MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0). I just got my hands on two of them actually, both working but one has some visibly bulging capacitors and the other has a few that I can't tell for sure if they're bulging because it's faint at best if they are.

I'll be honest I don't fully understand much on capacitor spec sheets beyond voltage and capacitance but I can solder like nobodies business so I've...
