• Re: simple q, how to identify replacement cap

Oh and let me add that I previously did this replacement on the same board in a different server, but I kind of blindly ordered the replacement cap without really knowing what I was doing.

The repair seemed to work but the exact cap I bought is not available anymore. I bought it on this site in fact, it was called "1500uF 6.3v 10mm ZL Series", that's all it says on my order history. So now I only see this one and this...

  • simple q, how to identify replacement cap

I have a bad cap on a raid controller card from a dell server (the model of the card is "UCS-51").

The cap in question says "Sanyo 1500uf 6.3v", and also "105C S.E.65 WF"

Can you guys help me with what replacement I should buy?

    Thanks.
