Yeah I also know its a FET, and needs to be replaced.
you can even see a burn mark near pin 1

      4 pins are shorted

        Which 4 pins ?

Anyway I was asking if you've removed it yet to see if the short still remains between any of the pads and ground.

That's not a burn mark, that is the small hole marking pin 1
Here is a similar thread with the same mosfet in question https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=89408
In other threads Q16 is marked 1054P and 1052U, so 105 might be the product number

It could be a Sinopower APM2605C. I found the info on a russian forum.

              NVidia bumpgate
              by piernov
Just archiving everything related to bumpgate since most stuff has disappeared from Google. Maybe people will finally take the time to read some of it and stop shouting "reflow gpu" at every occasion but rather try to understand what the real issue is…
Interesting parts about the failure analysis are "Why Nvidia's chips are defective" and "Why Nvidia's duff chips are due to shoddy engineering"

May complete this post at a later date with more details.
Basically issue is a combination of thermal dissipation of the chip with hotspot,...

              by Jenzo
Hey, looking at a Nvidia shield with no power, and this Current Switch labelled '1059A' heats up when plugged in. I have no real experience with Shields so could anyone tell me or link me a replacement? Thanx in advance!...

Please help to identify component with marking eHFFH
              by dutchgaucho
              Dear BadCaps colleagues,

I'm working on a HP Omen 16-WF0894ND. Won't turn on. Battery is charging and 3 and 5V rails are present.
However, I located PU1801 that's only outputting 0.37v as soon as the power button is pressed. Weird voltage imo, although there's no short after the coil. Chip aint getting hot either. Since no diagram is available, I can't really determine what this rail is for, but I assume it might be a PCH PWR rail. Please help me to identify:

              Chip marking eHFFH
              Board model: LA-M783P
              Please also see pictures attached.

Nvidia Shield 2019 - P2897 power on but no display
              by badboyzzz
There is a problem with nvidia shield 2019 p2897. The lights of the device are on but there is no voltage in the red marked areas. The green areas are normal and the chip in the yellow area is heating up in long-term voltage. Does anyone have a diagram or an idea? Thanks in advance
