    Panasonic FM to replace KZG?

I've got a couple Lenovo Thinkcentre's in with a couple smaller bulging caps in each. The failing ones are 6.3v/1000uf KZG's (8x12.5ish/15ish). I don't see these in the spec sheet, so must be somewhat custom. I suspect them to be around 30-32Ω/1,300mA based on the surrounding specs in the spec sheet, but I'd appreciate a confirmation on that.

Looking to replace them with 10v/1000uf Panasonic FM's (8x20) that are 30Ω/1,570mA.

There are about a dozen on each board, 2-4 failing on each, and are located scattered throughout the board, from memory to pci to northbridge locations. Most bad ones are between pci and northbridge.

Looking for someone to check my work. Does everything look good?

    Thanks!

ESR and ripple roughly follow can size of the cap, didnt look at the datasheet but if you took something in between the size just over and under you should be ok.

Panasonic TC-P55ST50 8 blinks then no blinks
        by Andre Gilbert
Hello! yes I know there is already lots of information about this issue. I have a Panasonic TC-P55ST50 that originally displayed an 8-blink error code. Following the troubleshooting flowchart, I ended up replacing the SS board. However, even after replacing it, the issue persists. The TV turns on and stays on without displaying an image, and continuity is confirmed on all connectors. What am I missing here🤔?
Ok Im a mechanical engineer ...but I thought I was able to follow a rather simple flowchart for electric troubleshooting 😂.

Problem with PANASONIC CF53 laptop after changing BIOS settings
        by AquaMan Ua
Hello. I am asking you for a hint on how to solve the problem with my touchbook Panasonic CF53-2 standart model. After setting up the BIOS, the laptop displays the wrong image until Windows loads. (More precisely, it displays, but distorted, instead of the Panasonic image immediately after turning it on, it displays what is in photo #1 in the attached file) Then the image appears when Windows starts loading and then there are no problems with the screen until the reboot. If you enter the BIOS, just a black screen. If you connect an external screen, the image on it is the same as on the built-in...

Nihon Kohden (Tyco Electric) ET2400LM 24" Restoration

This was rescued from a recycle gaylord from a hospital along with some other things....

I don't have to explain the significance of restoring this; 16:10 Aspect Ratio, 1920x1200; very high end Samsung LTM240CT04 panel. Add in it's blonde (will pair nice with a retro rig) and also ELO touchscreen. It is very well made, very heavy. Even used these are hard to find and expensive....but it had some problems...

Problem one, the external PSU was missing. I found one in my stash that had the correct voltage (12V) with the goofy 4-pin plug it used. It however was light on the...

[MSI KT3 Ultra ARU] Advice on capacitor choice
        by cloppy007
I've found out that the all the Nichicon HM(M) caps on this board are faulty and need replacement. However, I didn't plan in advance and I don't have good replacement caps.

The original values are 2200uF, 6.3V, 5mm pitch. According to the datasheet, the rated impedance should be around 13-18 uOhms.

There are 8 of them, 3 to the left of the CPU socket and 5 on the bottom, very close to the northbridge. They are all connected, according to my multimeter.

I think I recall hearing that I don't have to use the same capacitance for in series...

        Hi everyone!
I happened several times, in the search for help from the web, to consult this very interesting forum.
So I decided to sign up and I intend to participate actively by making available my knowledge and experience on the subject, I'm a new user but at the same time I'm old in the sense that I have 4 decades of experience in repairing and designing electronics but above all I'm a great passionate about the subject.

Having said that I come to the gist of my post on the forum as the title suggests.
For my passion for technology I'm now collecting several...
