    Unknown brand, "SC" logo

I can't seem to identity these caps, I've never seen this logo before. I'm a long time viewer of the forum. Thank you.

    According to:
    http://capacitor.web.fc2.com/c.html#cs
    they are "Chun Shing" capacitors.

The company's website doesn't seem to work very well:
    http://www.12kj.com/docc/product.htm

I see them from time to time, mostly in cheap power supplies. The ones you have pictured appear to be input filter caps. Primary input filter caps rarely fail, but the ones here can likely be replaced with any reliable brand of general purpose capacitor.

They are alright. I've only seen them fail in crap power supplies when put next to those minimum load resistors that run very very hot. My old Spire power supply also has them (apart from the cheap caps the build is quite nice) and it still runs fine.

Where other than crap PSUs have you seen them?

I've only seen them in crap PSUs.
          And they failed.

I've seen that logo a couple of times too, in cheap stuff.

If you were doing a recap job in a PSU with those you might as well replace them too and save yourself potential future headaches.

Saw ones with that brand bulging and leaking in 2 CoolMax PSUs.

Appears to be common in CoolMax PSUs.

                CLEVO PCB:6-71-V2500-D02
                by peterwang
Hi! I encountered a Clevo brand laptop that needed its boot LOGO modified. I found the LOGO address, but after the modification, the machine stopped displaying it. I'm puzzled. It worked normally before the 11th generation of CPUs, but it stopped working from the 12th generation onwards! The LOGO addresses are:
                166BACEC-6793-4F38-213F-DE0BEF4FEF95
                166BACEC-6793-4F38-213F-DE0BEF4FEF97
                166BACEC-6793-4F38-213F-DE0BEF4FEF99
I have provided the BIOS and LOGO files that require LOGO modification, and I hope someone can help me.

post moved...next time look for a thread...

                by Verlengsnoer
                Hi all,

at firs, i hope this is the right place to post my question.

Im looking for a tool to change the bios logo.

everyone knows when you turn on your laptop/pc you will see the manufacturer logo like lenovo, hp, dell...

i know that HP has a build in option to change the splash logo.

but i want to change the manufacturer logo to an own logo.

I try'd Change Logo 5.0, but when i make a backup of an laptop and edit the logo and flash the editted version back on the laptop the logo diddnt change.

BEST 505 Vs Mechanic Brand Reballing Balls with Lead
                by Stanley1843
                Hello,
has anyone use these Brands of solder balls? The brand BEST writes on the label of the jar the specs of the solder balls instead of the Mechanic brand. I beleive that BEST brand must be more professional (in labeling at least) but I have never try one of them so I would like your opinion. By the way I hardly can I find the Mechanic brand in aliexpress (the only where I found was lead free solder balls) and on ebay these that I found are approximately15USD per jar. If you know any other trusted brand of solder balls please tell me.
