It looks like a regular electrolytic capacitor. The angle of the pic makes it hard to read the uF and voltge though.

If you are new to this forum, we can help a lot more if you please post clear focused pictures (max resolution 2000x2000 and 2MB) of your boards using the manage attachments button so they are hosted here. Information and picture clarity compositions should look like this post.

We respectfully ask that you make some time and effort to read some of the guides available for basic troubleshooting. After you have read through them, then ask clarification questions or report your findings.

Please do not post inline and offsite as they slow down the loading of pages.

Re: Help Me With this Cap

If the cap in question looks exactly like in the picture, then it likely isn't from one of the good brands.
Do you know where this cap is used or what device it's coming from?
The one in the picture seems to be either 2700uF or 4700uF, 10v. Can't say for sure, though.

          Logo looks like it's Marcon.
Looks like 2700uF 10v to me.

I can make out the "700" anyway.
2700 and 4700 are the only common x700uF sizes.
Doesn't look big enough to be a 4700uF.

Its used to save the battery life in RC Nitro cars. I was trying to figure out what so i could just go ahead and make one for myself.

I don't really see how a capacitor of only 2700uF or so could save battery life...

Sounds something like that "Energy-saved box" which claims to "stop your wiring from getting the fevers"

Yea i dont know either but all you had to do was plug it into receiver box on an aux slot and it supposed to save the battery on your RC. At least thats what the add was claiming.

Re: Help Me With this Cap

I think it's unlikely to do much.

A super-capacitor fully charged from an external power source might help (as it would probably be like a 2nd battery, as far as I know) but this thing you describe here sounds like a scam.

What is the website it came from?

Edit: I think what you're looking at is one of these: http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...zing-Capacitor

Doesn't say anything about saving battery life, but as you can see I think it does have a point to it.

Hy guys , i have a DVR board DS-80104 REV 2.2 that was powered wrong, i have some smds on the board that are blown and i can't identify them , maybe if someone has this board somehow and we can identify the smds', i have searched online and i can't find a schematic.
The smds are SOT-23-6 , one of them i think it has the marking ADJF since i found another one on the board with this marking , but the other one it seems that it starts with AG or it looks like. I would really apreciate if someone could help me identify those IC's .

How can I identify varistor which have been blew up?
                        by chth96
I mistakely pluged 100v japanese retro game console to 220v outlet.
So It seems that glass fuse and varistor have been blew up.
I can identify that voltage and ampere value of glass fuse(250V LF 1.6A),but It is impossible to identify varistor type in my sega saturn PSU(YAMAHA 35M07U XR258)
Is there any way to identify varistor type in my sega saturn PSU?
                        Any reply would be appreciated.

                        EDIT:
It seems that I finally found out what type this black varistor is. It is Panasonic ERZV05D221 “ZNR” Transient/Surge Absorbers (Type D) Varistor Voltage...

                        820-02443 14" M1 angle sensor / keyboard / trackpad not working
                        by spidertnt
                        FYI.
I just had a 14" M1 MacBook Pro with liquid damage very small pretty much only angle sensor sustained any corrosion or damage.

But both keyboard and trackpad will not work at all ! Screen would flicker on and off all the time.
I ended up re-building the traces on the angle sensor cable using very small copper wire... this fixed both the flickering and the keyboard / trackpad.

I'm like WTF does the angle sensor have to do with keyboard / trackpad ?

Hello, I have a legion pro 5 16arx8 serial number pf4bf4aw mb code nm-f251 rev1.0 which was dissasembled by the client for cleaning. Now it does start but for 20 secs after that fans run at maximum and then shut down. Found PU8302 burned but cannot identify it the part. It is written eHFAA on it but didn't found any info, no boardview, nothing. Can anyone help identify the part so I can order it from somwhere? Ataching some pictures of the motherboard, serial number and part. Than\k you...
