When the power is turned on, the LED light bliks twice and turns on, with no display.
I flashed my original BIOS with different bios using CH341A and file come from this forum, it boot up led light stay but no display, can someone help me, pls!

Hello! I tried using the autopatcher for my Lenovo T480s, but it only causes the system to beep and display a blank screen (sometimes a very dimmed Lenovo logo). I'm using AsProgrammer and have followed the main instructions in this thread. I have also tried the W25Q128JV@SOIC8_PATCHED.bin file.

I've attached my original bin file.

Let me introduce myself, Im a frustrated chemical engineer that want to learn more about tech, specially software. Since I was kid I used to fix the pcs we had at home... OS, Bios, software for free or open source ones. I see now things became harder, I have a Lenovo thinkpad with compromised Bios, doesnt let me update or make modifications/repair.
I've struggled to create bios .bin file from the .exe oficial website so that brought me here.

A friend of mine approached me with request for help to recover access to a few electronic devices left after tragic death of his son. Hi, New mwmber from Kenya. I am looking for a solution to my Lenovo Thinkpad T480s. It just started the problem of Ac adapter having low watt. I am using the original charger.

Unfortunately, these models had a known defect on the firmware where the Thunderbolt controller (which controls the USB-C functionality on these) would constantly write to the EEPROM storage for the controller and kill it (too many write cycles). There is a firmware update to fix this you can try, but it won't help if the controller EEPROM is already "cooked" (in which case the only fix is either replacing the Thunderbolt EEPROM chip, or the entire motherboard, some have seen success manually flashing the EEPROM , but that is hit and miss).

Hi folks. As the title says, I was doing a port replacement on a Lenovo Thinkpad T480s and in the process of post-solder cleaning, I somehow knocked off 2 or 3 diodes (i think they are diodes) near the main usb-c. I can't seem to find what kind of a diode is that. I know it's ultra tiny and just has a letter "G" on it. Would someone maybe have a proper schematic for the t480s model? I can only find the non-s one and it's quite different to the "s". Would love to figure out what component that is.

Following this guide (https://www.reddit.com/r/thinkpad/co...g_and_flashing) i re-flashed my t480s BIOS using an external (CH341A) programmer. The flash didnt work, so i reverted back to my BIOS backup successfully. The BIOS in the chip and the BIOS backup file are identical according to windows' file compare. The revert, however, didnt work: the only thing the computer does is flash the power button 3 times when AC power is connected. I've tried unplugging the CMOS battery, holding the reset button and holding down the power button- no signs of life....

Hi, I'm trying to repair a Lenovo T480s I believe it is the backlight fuse, as the display is not lit up. I have tried another MB with the monitor and the screen works fine. So I'm looking for help in starting my journey into micro soldering/repairs. Looking at hot air stations and magnifiying glasses. Also looking for diagrams for Thinkpad T480s.
