Hi.
I was assembling "laptop of my dream" for more than 7 months from all over the world (literaly).
Palmrest, bottom cover, RAM and SSD shielding from different sellers from US eBay. Fans and motherboard from China (Ali). OLED matrix from UK eBay. Spend 3 months to find correct and extremely rare discrete graphics heatsink and waited 1 month to arrive from Germany. Somehow I'd found a screen assembly (without matrix) from local marketplace. All this in brown (AMD) color for Intel platform (that is Silver by nature).

Try another PC that has a different BIOS vendor, or a Win10 Virtual Machine; it works for me on an HP laptop

This is what HP says, you can't just try different versions if the BIOS was updated to latest (your backup is F.05), I'm attaching both F.05 and F.08 (latest)
NOTE: Due to the security updates installed by this BIOS update, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled after this BIOS update is run.

after i flashed it with its bios from the HP site of different versions but same BID
it still powers on, the fun runs and stops, the processor goes on but theres no display.

Current issue: laptop turning on, battery charging, fan turning on/off, CAPS LOCK react on pressing but screen remains black.
What was done so far - connected external monitor via HDMI, system reset, BIOS reset and BIOS recovery attempted as per HP recommendations - all to no avail.
Would it be possible for one of qualified people here to cook BIOS binary file for this machine?

some friends say i blew up the display chipset
does someone here had same experience? may can share some tips on fixing it?
i just hope that i blew come caps, and can fix it, becasue i open it up just to change the LCD, already bought the new LCD also...

I have an important update on the behavior of this HP ENVY x360 13 (LA-M024P Rev:1B) after flashing your BIOS.
After I flashed the new BIOS, I first tested the motherboard standalone, and it successfully negotiated up to 20V. I thought it was fully fixed, but once I assembled the laptop back into the chassis, the power delivery dropped back to the 5V / 0.11A lock again.

Hi everyone,
I am working on an HP ENVY x360 15 2-in-1 Laptop which is currently stuck at 5V / 0.11A (No 20V negotiation, completely dead).
The board is clean with no physical or liquid damage. All major power rails seem to be fine, and I can confirm that the 3.3V and 5V always-on (ALW) standby voltages are fully present at the inductors. The CPU low-resistance profile is normal (around 20 ohms), so it is not a dead short. I suspect a corrupted BIOS or Intel ME region loop is causing the Power Delivery controller to lock up at 5V.

As per title says I have a Envy 15-Fh0500na , Ryzen 7, 16 Gb version.
Motherboard number is JPB51 LA-M798P rev.1.0

The laptop is getting power when charger is connected, it charges as the light turns orange if battery is inserted, but it is not powering on. My first thought was that the keyboard was not working and tried to move the motherboard in a tested palmrest from a functional laptop with no success of getting it started.
I would like to try and write a new bios if anyone can help with a tested and working dump.
