You can use any Asus bios update file as they are complete SPI images, for SPi programmer remove initial 0x800 data block, FD44editor for original board data transfer present in dump file.

Hello, nice to meet you. Thank you for your interest in helping. Honestly, I'm still not familiar with editing the BIOS. I'm just learning. But with this BIOS, I don't know why the editing is failing.

Try this, it's latest version 2209 from ASUS website, ready to flash with programmer
Remove from 000 to 7FF with hex editor, or open .cap with UEFITool, expand "AMI Aptio capsule", right click on "Intel image" -> Extract as is...
I copied manually from 354000-35405F and 370090-3700CF from your backup to this BIOS

Dear colleagues, I haven't been successful editing the BIOS. I've followed the steps, but I may be doing something wrong or missing a step. The new file matches the motherboard data with the backup file, and they're the same size. I program, but I still don't have an image.

Check with known good 8th/9th gen/Pentium G54xx CPU with integrated graphics (check CPU support list) and known good RAM
Inspect for bent/damaged pins on CPU socket
First boot may take few minutes
Have you tried with my BIOS? It's ready to program, size is 16777216 bytes

Desktop motherboard BIOS are easy, on ASUS you have to cut first 000-7FF with hex editor, or extract the .cap with UEFITool
              https://www.asus.com/latin/motherboa...E-H310M-E-R2-0

If that doesn't work you may have a hardware problem

Asus ROG Strix Scar G533qm with a G733qm Motherboard, can I modify the Bios to accept G533 Bios
                    by glovecaps
                    Hello,

I have a Asus ROG Strix Scar 15 (G533QM) that had a dead motherboard (Graphics card dead) and after trying to fix the motherboard with no success, I bit the bullet on a sale for a new motherboard. I ordered a motherboard for the 15 inch model which is the one that I have, and when the motherboard arrived it wasn't for a little while that I saw it was from the 17 inch model.

My question is, can I update the Bios on this G733 motherboard to a G533 Bios.

The reason for wanting to do this is that the keyboard isn't working as it should, and I think this...

Asus ROG Ally X -RC72LA - changed hidden bios settings with 'Smokeless-UMAF', won't get past boot logo

                    Model No: RC72LA
                    Serial No: SBNVKD001014459

Hi all, I've spent the past week digging through the forums and guides to try correct my foolish mistake of changing hidden settings while tinkering around, and to be honest my heads overloaded so I'm hoping you'll be able to help.

I used a tool called 'Smokeless-UMAF' to access usually hidden settings in the bios. I tweaked one or two 'safe' things but made the mistake of tweaking a lot of settings under 'USB/Thunderbolt Configurations' when I didn't know what they did. For...

Need real mobo dump of BIOS v402 for ASUS PRIME Z590-A - stock image no help
                    by DynaxSC
                    Hi,

I have a serious problem to program the Z590 chipset SRAM with a Management Engine after replacing the chipset.
The new chipset is factory new and is not containing any Management Engine. Any attempts to program it into the chipset under Windows ends with a failure (eg. Error 20: Management Engine Device not present, or something similar).
Due to the lack of the ME several ports on the board, including all M.2 ports aren't working, booting OS works only on USB. So it's now other way, as to program the chipset with a ME.

Usually on ASUS boards it worked...

ASUS ex-b250-V7 motherboard bios corrupted - by me
                    by oragano
hey all, i did a silly thing and flashed bios to perfectly working board. None of the asus official download bios would work with ez flash. They all gave error saying not supported bios file. I tried using uefi tool to extract it to a bin file but then ez flash wouldnt even recognise it.
So, i used freedos and afudos with the aforementioned bin file i extracted and forced the issue. After bios reprogram, reboot and it was dead. Fans spinning but no post.
i have a bios writer and none of the .cap files from the official site work either. I just get one spin, then off, then all fans...
