Howdy! My name is Mason and I'm primarily an automotive and diesel mechanic, but my father is an electrician, so I grew up reading all his books and such. I'm definitely no expert, but I'd say I'm far from a novice with electronics and computers. It's quite the addicting hobby. I generally hate SMD stuff, but it's quite unavoidable nowadays 🤬 Anywho, that's pretty much it. The info on this site is absolutely invaluable, and the expertise of everyone is greatly appreciated!

Hello people! I'm glad to join your comunity.
I'm from Ukraine. For the most part I deal with relatively simple devices, mainly repair them but also take part in small scale manufacturing of those devices(mainly troubleshooting and configuring boards assembled by other people).
I don't have experience with board repairs on complex electronics like laptops, PCs or graphic cards, but I have worked for some time as a technician on PCs mainly performing maintenance and testing whatever used stuff company was going to buy.
I would like to some day work as embedded developer that does both electronics and software development.
Looking forward to learn from you guys, and if I ever come across anything worthwhile I will share it with you as well.Comment
