I had previously tried to desolder a chip and replace it with a preprogrammed one however to no avail. It was a 11th Gen Dell Latittude, However up-on installing the new chip the machine wouldn't boot. I do have 3 more laptops too attempt however moving forward I'm going to try and modify the current bin file as opposed to replacing the whole chip. Could I ask, When replacing the bios chip with a pre-programmed one, Should I have replaced the EC chip? I'm truing to workout where I went wrong. I did resolve the original chip back however the laptop still wouldn't...

I had recently tried to reflash the bios on a dell latittude that has a Wson8 Chip however to no avail.

My question is, Has anyone had much success using the Pogo/Needle adapters to read and write bios without removing the chip from the main board?

I seem to struggling with the solder process wofh my reflow station and currently have 4 machines waiting for a bios mod/reflash.

For context I have just ordered a EZP2019 SPI flash so this is what I would be using alongside the Pogo Adapter.
