Hi I have been into electronics repair since the 70's, I got into computers with my own a BBC model B in 1986, I had a 286 by 1990 and progressed then on.
I was origionally into CRT monitor repair and went on from that to computers and laptops.
I am virtually retired and pick and choose my work now.

Hello everyone, I introduce myself, I'm OTTO. I arrived at this forum because I recently started getting into electronics, and I'm really passionate about it. I've been repairing devices for just over a year, and today I received a netbook that needed a BIOS repair. While researching online, I stumbled upon Badcaps, which seemed really interesting to me because everyone helps each other out. I think that's great, as camaraderie and other people's knowledge are always helpful and educational. So, I decided not only to ask for help but also to offer it.
