    Vizio V585-H11 T-con Mod

Had a V585-H11come in with no picture today. Similar problem to the Samsungs i figured out a few months ago
    https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=107445

Same solution. I replaced a single 0 ohm resistor on the TCON with 10K ohm. It turned on, has picture, no distortions or artifacts. Looks like R78.

I dont know why this works, but it works.

    That's impressive, good job!
Can you post full picture of your t-con with readable label?
This model is using different t-con types.

I try your fix, and it make the panel work again but the image glitch for a few millisecond every 2-3 sec or so.

So it have a short somewhere and I only bypass some safety measure with that resistance.

It can probably mean its trash time unless you have more idea. Im about at the max of my capabilities here.

VIZIO E70-E3 Half picture with half TCON
          by Fly_Among_Stars
          Hi,
          I have a VIZIO E70-E3.
Symptoms: Black screen, no picture, but LED backlights are working.
I probed the power board and voltages are as listed on the board.
          Main board appears fine, too.
I believe the problem is either a bad T-CON board, or connection to LCD, or bad LCD.
There are two separate ribbon cables feeding the LCD.
If both are connected, the screen is black.

If only the ribbon cable that feeds the right side of the screen (when viewed from the front) is disconnected, the left side of the screen shows picture and...

Vizio P602UI-B3 No Picture or Sound - No TCON Voltage
          by jason123
          Hello,
Help is much appreciated as I don't have any experience with this model TV.

Picked it up and it was smoking in the back when powered.
Open opening the LED Driver board was charred (see last photo.)

I noticed some blown caps on the Power board as well.

Replaced the LED driver board, and bad caps on Power supply.

Voltages on CN301 (upper power supply connector to LED driver board)
          X000017 - All 24.39V
          GND - 0.001
          OD - 0.015
VSNS - 0.009 (does that imply bad backlight or bad LED Driver?)

Vizio M65-E0 No Picture, No Sound
          by ggil44
Hi I inherited a Vizio M65-E0 that isn't working. It must have been dropped on the corner because I found that the infrared circuit had a capacitor with one end broken off of the board and some green corrosion around the plug to the main board. I re-soldered the capacitor and cleaned the corrosion well and tried turning the M65-E0 on and I was successful. My problem is that while the back lights come on and appear to perform local dimming there is no picture or sound. It kind of looks like you are looking at the TV through a very dense fog, where changing the input on the remote will change bright...

Vizio m65-c1 picture flashing on and off on the screen
          by maricm
          HI all,
hope someone point to the possible issue before I start buying replacement parts.
Tv starts normal and responds to remote fine, PSU voltages mesured fine 19v was 18.9V under load and 19V with main board disconnected.
Backlight stays on all the time,
          Sound works fine.
screen keeps changing form black to full picture in about 1sec intervals.
Picture looks fine with no visible artifacts.
I have disconnected backlights and flashlight test confirmed that picture is still doing the same.

Samsung LCD TV no picture backlight on no 12v at tcon
          by shelby5041
          hi
i have a samsung lcd tv

it powers on with sound and backlight but no picture

all voltages from PS are good 12v 3.3v and 5v

whats odd is that at the tcon i tested voltage across the fuse on the tcon and i get 0v

i figured main board issue..so i ordered a used main board....when i put replacement main board in i still have same issue

no 12v at the tcon fuse

i disconnect the panel ribbon cables to rule out any panel issues and i still have no 12v at the tcon fuse

          the odds of having 2...
