    Sony Bravia 50w808C - Gliched screen!

    Hello guys. My bravia give up after only 4/5 years old. I post a video from what it does above. .I thoght it waas the tcom,ordered a new one from china ,and the problem stays exactly the same. Apears be an sync signal lost somewhere.
    What is your gess?

      Something going on in the lower left of the screen ?

      You need to take the back off and remove the cable from each side of the screen in turn to see if you get a good picture on one side.

          unfortunally i get same result. each half screen shows some picture but gliching, like if some frames pass to lcd,other(majority) not. it's not syncing or updating the picture... can a faulty cpu or broken solder do that?

              To me it looks like the LCD has suffered some damage on the lower left. Check the tab bonds if someone “washed” the screen and also check the little LCD driver boards. You have to check voltages like vgl, vgh… etc.

                  Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

                  My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

                  This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

                  Hi everyone,

                  I have a Sony bravia kdl 46nx700. It turns on, but the screen is awfully dim.
                  Things I have tried:
                  Went into settings and increased the brightness and contrast. Screen did not change at all.
                  Went into settings and made sure any auto brightness settings and limit is turned off. Did not see any difference again even after playing with brightness and contrast.
                  Did a factory reset. Again no change. Then repeated the steps above. No change.
                  At this point I think with myself that this is a hardware problem. Since my tv does not have any...

                  I have a Sony Bravia KDL-40V2500 that will not power on. The indicator flashes red 3 times.
                  I do not hear any sound and I cannot see any backlight.
                  I have tried disconnecting every cable on each board one at a time to see if anything changes.
                  The only change is when I disconnect AC-DET cable on the Power Supply board or on the other end if I unplug the CN7009 connection on the B-Board and try to power on the TV the indicator will stay on solid green until I power off.
                  My friend ordered another used power supply board but it is also doing the red indicator flash 3 times...

                  Hello again everyone,

                  This is my latest mission, to try getting this Sony tv back to normal working order…

                  I've only just got it today, when you power it up everything is as should be, in fact it works perfectly for a few minutes then the screen starts getting horizontal lines on & eventually the full screen goes back, I will upload photos of the problem & also some photos of the board etc. You might notice that I'm busy trying the tape method, I'm not sure exactly where the clock lines are so I'm just guessing & hoping for the best lol . I've already tried...

                  I have a iphone XS that came in for a screen replacement, the screen was badly cracked, and inside missing scues, on the back of the screen still the blue protector, the screen was a LCD. So we replaced the screen and all good, installed the screen and we noticed that pressing the screen with a bit of force but not excessive, the phone dies. After plugging the charger it turns back on, but again if you press it it dies. I open the phone again, and I can't see anything major, with the phone open, if I press on the logic board, battery, charging board, or even putting pressure on...
