I have a Sharp LC-40LE431U TV. The symptoms are when plugged in, the control buttons on the right side panel don't seem to want to work correctly. I get a solid red light. But when I press the Power button, it does not power on immediately. I have to keep pressing ALL the side buttons randomly until finally the solid green light is on. Then when pressing each additional button, they do not always respond correctly, if at all. Pressing the Volume button might bring up the Menu, or vise versa. Even if I can get the Menu screen to come up and scroll through the selections, I still cannot select any of them to connect to a source. Will a complete repair kit solve this, or is it a simpler fix?

Re: Manual control buttons not working properly
might not work but start with simple first, unplug tv from power, try to get a little isopropyl alcohol in between each button and push the buttons lots of times, always remember to give plenty of time for the alcohol to dry up but it usually dont take too long. -

can try a reset, see if this works for you: https://www.google.com/search?q=shar...359AOB94DwDw15Comment

by Ritchie_UkHi Folks
I am searching for a Sharp 32BC2K0 Service Manual
Sharp 32BC2K0 << Could be an "O" as in Orange or a Zero
Fault - Coloured "Bars" very thin all across the screen.
I would like tho get the values for the 2 Resistors and I believe a Missing Capacitor.
I would Like a Service Manual, that has the component values, and locations, as the PCB isnt that clear as for designations
Is there such thing as a Boardview for this TV?
I will Post the Photos in a second
Thanks

by bohabohaHi everyone is it possible to change or use a different IR SENSOR / CONTROL BUTTONS BOARD on a tv?
exp: from a Philips to a Samsung or any
if it breaks or if there is some odd brand or if universal remote control would not work -
by rvianiAfter many years of service this unit now refuses to turn on and gives a once per second continuous blinking power indicator. Service manual indicates this is a "lamp failure".
If I force the power on with Channel down and volume up buttons I measure correct power supply voltages at the main board. The Power supply to the inverters (connector LA) measure 10V and 47.3V which I don't have a value for from the manual but appears should be 24V. LB connector which I guess are control voltages to inverter measure 3.3V, 3.1V, 0V, and 0V at contacts 1, 2, 3, and 4 respectivly.... -
by YanlebHi all, I just want to share the repair of my 60PK550-UA TV set.
The TV set was powering on, just no image. After verification, nothing wrong on the YSus or ZSus boards. Nothing wrong on the main board either.
But I noticed that the LED was not flashing on the Logic Control Board. This is an EBR63450301. The LED is supposed to flash even with all the flat cables disconnected, with only the power cable attached.
All the voltages measured at the electrolytic capacitors on the board were good. From top left to bottom right:
C57: 3.30V

by BowlineMy question pertains to understanding the control circuity inside a Dell PT434 type battery used in Dell E6400, E6410 and other Dell notebooks?
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the inside of a Dell PT434 battery and/or a description of how the control lines work to control this battery?
My reason for asking is I have a battery which I cannot get to charge beyond 1% in a Dell E6410 or E6400.
The LED bar graph charge indicator on the battery shows one LED lighted when the info button is pressed.
I have tried multiple different Dell power adapters. My Dell... - Loading...
