Sorry for the delay, and i have been working nights !!
I decided to check out the PCB with a fine tooth comb
I reworked the Charge IC, and a couple of other Components.
It seems to be working now and "Charges and Holds Charge" to 100%
I am pleased, ad I have invested a bit of money into this device which really isnt worth too much

Dell inspiron 13Z 5323 - Not Charging
Hi there
Would anybody know why a Dell Inspiron 5323 dosnt charge?
The Battery was replaced after really badly Bulging, to the point where the case was being pushed open.
What component would fail if it was overcharged to this point?
The Laptop works perfectly on the Power Adapter.
I don't have a Boardview or Schematic
Could it be the Charge IC BQ07A?
Any help would be appreciated

I will take some Voltage readings that I can refer to as a document on a working unit.

UPDATE !!
Hi FriedFred and Folks - I just tested the Laptop after I installed the new Track Pad and Cable.
It didnt work before, even in Linux
I uninstalled the Drivers "Cleanly" and Reinstalled them
All seems to Work now to my surprise !!
The USB Ports were intermittently disconnecting, but that was solved, by re-soldering and cleaning the ports.
I am not truly sure why it has started working now, but it is and I will extensively test it in the Field

i replaced the Touch tablet and a new cable was installed
it still didn’t see it in device manager or even Linux
Could it be a faulty keyboard?

Lenovo W550S - No Touchpad / Tracker Pad
Hi There
I purchased a Lenovo W550S about a year ago, and was really pleased.
Initially there was intermittent USB connection, which ended up being a bad connection
There was no TouchPad.
I ordered a pricey Pad that I was excited about, as I needed a solid machine for myself
It didn't Work, or should I say that still "No Touch Pad"
I was gutted, as I got the Laptop really cheaply
What next please?

I wonder if anybody could be kind enough to help me, please?
I have just received the Logic Board, and the fault is still the same
1. The Remote does Respond
2. None of the Inputs make a difference, ie TV / HDMI etc
3. No Audio or Sound
I have already spent money on this TV and it has the same fault.
Could anybody point me into the direction of the service manual, so I can start testing the PSU?

A JVC LT-40C880 - No Graphics, But has Audio !!
Hi there - I am trying to get a Service manual, please, for a JVC LT-40C880
1. The TV has no Display, ie Graphics, but the Backlights do come on
2. There is Audio
3. I only noticed after I took the photo that the RGB connectors had something ( Pink things )in them, when I spoke to the customer, he admitted breaking a Game Console Connector in them.
Would a Shorted RGB connector have damaged or blow anything?
The TV is almost immaculate, and therefore I dont want to dispose of it.

ps - Hey Reformatt - I couldnt find the component, when I did a search for CL2, so I searched for the Resistor Pack next to it RP5, and it found it with P/N SE167100J80

Would anybody be kind enough to point me in the right direction for purchasing this component / fuse please?
Initially it was dead, and multiple faults, so I found this O/C Fuse, or at least I assume it is a fuse.
The problem was a jammed in USB Mouse / Keyboard dongle, that was so hard to remove
I dont have any schematics, but I woukd be interested to know what the Fuse is for
On the board you can see it is in the top right CL2
Anybody else had this fault?

i was going to order the connector at £0.89 and postage was £15.00 ... Sheesh!
I saw a whole working unit in eBay for £20.00
It seemed sensible to order it, just incase the unit has other faults on it

Is it an FPC, is that the name I search for?
I am wanting to order the connector that was ripped off the board, hence why in for repair, and the flexi cable.
It seems its a 30 way, with the flap that closes down.
I am not sure the pitch of the connector, because I dont have a Manual/Parts manual.

Hi Lotas - The FlexiCable has pulled away from the main board
Is it torn from the glass or from the buffer strip? Can I look at the photo?

When I rub my finger over the Cable, picture tries to come back

i have a small computer monitor, that only seems to work on the Analogue input ie VGA and not HDMI.
I was wondering if anybody has a Datasheet for the SE1369HL ic please?
There seems to be very low resistance ie virtual short around the IC
What would cause those symptoms?
Does that ic switch over and detect the inputs?
Analogue, works perfectly.
Any suggestions or schematics please?

As Promised, sorry for the delay, the update is that those components have worked, and we have a screen that lights up now
I had to order some components
We have no audio, but it could be that it isnt tuned, so I am going to use a computer, to connect the HDMI port
Sadly the Flexi Cable on the T-Con board was torn off, which I didnt notice at first.
It wasnt much, just slightly, so when I rubbed my finger over it, the screen flickered.
