    Black screen w/sound. Samsung QN75Q7FAMF

New member and new to troubleshooting LED TV’s.
Issue began with vertical and horizontal lines on the screen after remounting the TV. I cleaned both ends of the connection ribbons attached to the T-CONN board with denatured alcohol on a Q-Tip and reenergized. The result was more vertical lines than before but the picture was clear. After hitting the home button on the remote and arrowing up, the screen went black with the lines still visible.
Sound is on. I can change channels and volume with remote but the home button makes no changes.
I performed a flashlight test and no image was noticeable behind the black screen. Backlighting appears to function properly. I re-cleaned the ribbons using contact cleaner on a Q-tip and noticed a change in the number of vertical lines but no other changes.
Any advise on what the next things to check would be appreciated. I’ve watched some YouTube videos on checking voltages at certain points but I could not identify those points on my model TV.

If your getting 13V on pins 3,5,7,9 and your backlights are staying on you have a bad main board, one connect, or bad panel. unhook the one connect and see if you have any lines. you should see a clear message to connect the one connect box. unhook one ribbon cable going to panel at a time. See if picture looks clear on one side that is hooked up. If your still seeing lines it may be a defective panel. Take it to a qualified technician for proper diagnostics.

      Samsung QN50Q60t lines on screen
      by jeyoung12
      Hi all
I have lines on the screen...which is an age old problem that can be remedied by watching Youtube videos and getting out the tape.
My issue (after successfully fixing a different sammy tv with a separate tcon board and isolating the side of the panel...):

This tv has an integrated tcon...so it is a bit more confusing when trying to isolate the clocks.
It has a c ribbon and i have taken each end out to see if that will isolate the lines. instead, it makes it much worse ALL over the tv!

So....i don't know what end of the C ribbon to work with...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
      by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Samsung UN65js8500F, no sound, blank screen and T-Con board with one LED on
      by mrtek
Hi I am new to this kind of repairs but I want to learn..I have a Samsung UN65JS8500F. the TV used to work and I tried to fix darker areas in the middle only ( img 1,2,3). I thought the led strip were bad..not the case. I did not research in advance what kind and where the LED were located. In this model they are located vertically on right and left side. Took the TV apart and put it back together. Now the tv shows no welcome screen and no sound is available thru the speakers. ..just a black screen..Backlight LED do turn on...also noticed a 5 blink code , not sure if that was there before. I can...

      Screen Display Vertical Multicolor Lines
      by Stanley1843
Hello, I have a screen in where sometimes when I open it pop-up vertical multicolor lines (I would say the most of them are green). If I tun off and turn on the screen the lines dissapear or if I leave open the screen after approximately five minutes the lines gone. I measured the below voltages on the main PCB and on the T-CON board and the voltages are the same when it doesn’t display the vertical lines and when it displays the vertical lines. Also, I cleaned all the connectors very good with IPA. I moved back and forth the connectors and the COF tabs but the vertical lines didn't displayed...
