Hi, I've got a weird case on a television. Backlight turns on and there is audio however screen slowly fades in with all different colours and weird vertical bars. I suspected the T-CON (Part number: HV430QUB-N4A) and so I went ahead and disconnected one side of the screen and left the other connected, after trying both ways the artifacts still seem to be there (in fact they got worse with one side disconnected). To me this indicated a T-CON problem not an LCD problem however after disconnecting both LCD ribbon cables from the T-CON only leaving the backlight connected is saw this (Image below). It seems as if a column of pixels got stuck partly open? Any ideas if this is fixable or what to do next. At this point I'm suspecting a bad T-CON and an LCD with a burnt-in column. I'd also like to mention that when the tv was fully assembled, this column would shine bright once the tv powers on (maybe bad T-CON caused this section to light up and previous owners left it on like this for a long time and it got burnt in? I don't think it's one of those two thin LCD boards as when I touch the ribbons on them I get no response.)
There is a lot of reflection on the bottom left side of the image, please ignore that.
Thanks in advance.
