    LED problem Panasonic TH55ds610

Hi all I'm new here. An old tv tech from the tripler and crt days.
Just got given a dead panasonic TH55ds610 so thought I would have a go. Symptoms, starts up, get a flash of a menu on the screen for a second
does it again and then shuts down. when I connect a dvd player the sound also works for a second and also a flash of a picture before it shuts down.
Took the back off and suprised how small the electronics are.
Anyway to cut a long story short, found 3 mosfets (out of a set of eight)on the led driver board all s/c emitter to collector.
So I am trying to source these components.Have checked as best I can for other shorts on the board, seems ok.Do you think replacing these will sort the problem?
Also how come the heatsinks of these mosfets have warnings "Danger High voltage" when they seem to be connected to chassis ground? Appreciate any insight

If you have a flash of backlights, then you likely have bad backlights. Bad backlights can damage power supplies on some models. Tough to find replacement strips for Panasonics though. https://techhometravel.com/lg-ln-ser...ed-backlights/

Ground may be hot. For instance, the primary heatsink is connected to primary ground - which certainly isn't chassis ground, and it will bite you!

Most TVs have the LED inverters sourced from the cold side, but I have seen some large sets where the LED strips are driven off the mains by a non-isolated supply. The labels are going to be there as a means of precaution anyway.

Thanks for that. Will have to watch out for it. Still waiting for the transistors to come from China. They are ( KT) A1040 . Anyone know of easier sourced replacements?

I believe this will fit the bill: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...84Q-13/4570525 and it appears to be in stock.
