LG OLEDB6, no picture, get picture

    Hi guys,

I bought that TV as wrong as won't turn on. After plugged give 2 click, than one click and blink 3 times the led.

I have checked many things, there is no short, voltages ok. Than was without heatshield for an hour under voltage, than turned ON, got a picture, yess...

I have assemled, after run it for half an hour, than again no picture, but still has sound. Since turned off again the same, won't turn ON.

For me pretty sure it is a BGA problem, but not sure which. 90% that is a GPU on the T-Con board, but what you mean guys? Can be the processor on the MB? If 100% GPU than i will send it for rework.

I told wrong, the TV now is on, but simply give no picture. EDIT: however, it is now surprising that 12.9 can be measured on the 12V side and 25.5V on the 24V side. Any idea please guys?

With power off and unplugged use a hair dryer to heat only one of the suspect BGA ic's. If you get a picture you likely have found the problem. If not, try another.

Thanks. Did'nt works, but found another problem, it is new.

The marked coil has a short, than one of theses beeps not. I thinking about to order a t-con board, but how can i test the PS of that 100% good is? Doesnt want to kill the changed t-con.

            +these 2 caps has short.

A coil should show low resistance. And the "caps" in your second pic are not caps they are filters and should also show a low resistance.

Thank you! I ordered a T-CON, now got a picture but i have one black horizontal line on the screen. Can be the display defected or this T-CON board trash?

I don't know much about OLED's perhaps someone else will answer that BUT I think the horizontal line is a panel failure which probably killed your original tcon and if so will likely kill its replacement in time.

Display itself or if you're lucky the problem is on the panel boards (attached to the panel) and can be repaired.

SAMSUNG UN55KS9000F picture fades then distorts into vertical lines after 20 seconds
                        by JJAAMM
This was my main TV for the last 6 years. I'm not inclined to throw out a $2600 TV so quickly so I'm trying to investigate the issue.

                        Problem
TV was disconnected from power for 6 months during construction. When I plugged it yesterday picture was fine, after 30 seconds it dimmed then started developing horizontal lines, picture then starts to ghost vertically until it degrades into vertical streaks. TV always displays a perfect picture when cold. I can unplug TV for 5 minutes and plug it back in and picture is restored for 20 seconds. I can also keep it in standby mode...

Samsung TV model UE50TU: rebooting, backlight, sound, but no picture
                        by TR103
                        Hi, I have a Samsung UE50TU with:
                        - sound and backlight, but no picture
                        - when it arrived, it had a picture for a few seconds
                        - it keeps rebooting
                        - without ribbon cable between the two panel boards, it does not reboot but I have no picture
                        - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel, it does not reboot (but obviously i have no picture)
                        - when i try a tape fix, its keeps rebooting, unless I tape off pin 1 (the innermost pin). In that case it does not reboot but I have no picture.

                        - without cable between mainboard and lcd panel and with a jumpered...

Samsung UN60EH6000F Black Screen, Backlight and Sound Good. Power Cycle Returns Picture
                        by Mgiffune
I have a 60 inch Samsung UN60EH6000F flatscreen TV. The screen went black a few months ago Sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. I replaced the TCon board with a used board purchased from Ebay. It worked fine for a 3-4 months, then the screen started ‘fading' back. Once again, sound is good, backlight is good, no menu. However, this time the picture looks fine for about 10-15 minutes, then fades back. If I power cycle the TV, the display reappears, for another 10-15 minutes, then fades black again. Repeatable ever time.

I ordered a supposedly ‘new' Tcon board this time, and

Hello, Last week I bought the 50" Sony X80j tv everything was working fine, untill I plugged the tv in a ups power supply 650va the tv remote control became unresponsive and the TV became laggy after a while the picture quality isn't the same as before the tv seems less brighter and the picture is somehow blurry, people's faces don't look as natural as before, there is a mini orange-pink tint to the edge of people's faces especially in NETFLIX Dolby Vision like in One Piece ep1 Alvida skin tone, my intention was to protect the tv but something went wrong I checked the ups with a multimeter,...

Philips 58PUS7805/12 showed no picture; after T-Con replacement, shows halo
                        by Rauni
Hello, this is my first post on this forum, and my first attempted to repair a TV.

My Philips 58PUS7805/12 stopped working recently. It is not that old, about 5 years. We were on a trip for a few days and when we came back, it had stopped working out of a blue (Perhaps our house was hit by a lightning strike? Don't know.)

Read from a guide that I should test if the screen shows picture with one of the T-Con cables disconnected. Did that, it showed perfect picture (first on left, later on right side).

Read also that we should test what happens if we...
