LG 55UJ6200 TV with bright spots

There are a few bright spots on the screen. I checked on youtube and most probably they are caused by the led lens fell off and can be fix by gluing back the lens.
But one of the bright spots is actually a bright ring (circled in red as shown on the attached photo). That means a bright spot with a dark center. What is the cause of that bright ring and how to fix it?

You are correct the lens fell off and the one with the bright ring is probably loose and off center. Best way to fix is replace all with a new set. You can open it up and glue them back on, but you'll be back soon t do it again.

If you do glue them back on, do it with the panel open and the led's ON, that way you can position the lens so it is in the best spot.

If the led is ON, the light coming out is too strong. It is impossible to look at it directly, then how can I find the best position? (Should I wear sun glasses when doing that?) May be I misunderstood your suggestion.

Best to replace all the strips with new if you are going to open up the TV. Just did this model with bad backlights. Its a Chinese made Skyworth for LG.

Put the lens over the led, turn on the tv and position the lens. The lens is there to spread the light evenly, once placed over the led and moved a bit you will see wher the best position is. If the others are too bright near by, cover them temporarly. I have seen the result of just gluing the lens over the led's and you will see it as well.

VOIP, ATA REN and old analog phones ring voltage booster
                    by CapLeaker
I am working on a backup phone to VHF paging solution. Basically I am dealing with the old Zetron pagers. Here is how it works: One calls a number, the Zetron picks up, operator punches in the DTMF access code, the Zetron keys the transmitter and you can talk. press # the Zetron unkeys the transmitter and hangs up / times out.
Now this setup works good on the old land lines, but not at all using a VOIP ATA. You can call all you want and swear like a bastard at the Zetron, but it will not (even if I threaten it's life) pick up.
Yep, I know about the high ring voltage...

                    Samsung UN55JU650DF network/streaming problem
                    by howardc64
Fixed a 9 year old UN55JU650 by replacing backlight. Original backlight LED was still working after 27k! hours but terrible picture of course. Few LEDs were out, 5-6 lens fell off (bright white spots) and another few popped off with slightest force. Surviving LEDs were all slightly blue so picture has a blue tint.

This TV runs older Tizen OS (updated to latest version, see pic) and have problems with network (wifi or ethernet) connection. The Tizen UI frequently switch to coax input source while changing content sources. . If no good signal (coax not connected, no prior antenna/cable...

                    Hi All,

whats the cause of the leds shining brighter as in the photo?

Is it where the led strip adhesive has come away from the metal back panel allowing the leds to be closer to the 'fresnel' screen and hence appear to be brighter?...

Philips 243v5lhsb00 Monitor Picture too bright
                    by Schwoin
                    Hey everyone,

the picture on my philips monitor looks way too bright so that black appears grey and colors also seem too bright.

While i tried to tilt the screen a little bit while it was displaying a picture, i´ve noticed, that there appeared some purple pixels. In the following picture
you can see them on the top half of the photo.

At a certain point during the tilting, the picture looked normal again but as soon as i laid it back down, the purple pixels were gone and the picture was bright again.
                    ...
