take out the both ribbon cable out and inspect them under loop if there any damage at the pins contact.. after inspection and they are fine put them back but the long blue area should be at T-CON side.. not as its now.

also inspect the LVDS cable from the mainboards side.. dont forget to take the main boards out side the set and clean it very well from the dust it have from both side.

I cleaned everything and the ribbons cable are OK.
When I connect only right side of the screen, I got a half-screen white and the other black, on the white side there is black line and the "jumping" effect is present on the right side. When I connect only the left side of the screen, just a half white screen. I have tried swaping the two ribbon cable -> same result.
No changes when I move gently the board when screen on.

Also, the t-con get very hot.

On post #3 there was a boot logo when I boot up the TV with the 2 ribbon cable. Now the screen is completely black. I don't know why.
The boot up process work because the leds lights up then down

I saw a video online where some indian dude was messing with the buffer board on a LG tv with stutter problems ... He seemed to fix it by bypassing some IC.. Cant find the video of it right now but when i do i will post it so you can try.

I fixed same issue with VIZIO TV by putting small piece of tape on the cable connecting to LCD panel from t-con. I don't remember exactly but I placed tape on 3-4 pins and it worked.

+1, Yep, tape-cutoff method, might just work.

I'm not sure about the pin numbers and it could be different for TCL than Vizio. First you need to identify which side is the problem left or right bu disconnecting one cable cable at a time from t-con and check half image has that "wobbling" issue or not. Then you need to take brute force action to fixe the issue. As I said there is no specific number of pin that you need to block.

Just bought this for 10 bucks yesterday hoping to fix it. The guy said water dropped inside from a dehumidifier hose and it started showing black and white vertical bars then went blank. When I got it home and turned it on it came on fine and displayed correctly but I was noticing faint vertical bars in the image. After a little bit I turned it off and back on and it was a black screen again. I opened it up to check for water damage and corrosion but didn't find anything of the sort. I cleaned the ribbons anyway and reconnected them but still got a blank screen. If I disconnect the right side...

This thread is about trying to get an Universal Main Board to work with a Sharp TCON and panel.

I have a Sharp LC-46D85UN TV that has had a main board issue. Since this model is from 2009, I am not able to find an exact replacement of the main board. Instead, I decided to see if I can future proof this tv by getting a Universal Main Board (T53U21.2) from China to work with the Sharp TCON (CPWBX4291TPZA) and panel. The universal main board supports a 8 bit dual channel LVDS interface whereas the TCON requires a 10 bit dual channel LVDS input. I have modded the LVDS connector to match...

                                          Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.
