Disconnect right 1/2 panel (rear view), left 1/2 displays properly
Masking T-Con Signal Diagnostic
Reduced masking to 5 signals on right 1/2 panel and get perfect picture
Pins are
1 GND
2 VGHD
3 XON
4 VSSQ
5 LC2
6 LC1
VGHD and LC1 masking is absolutely necessary to get working panel. Didn't unmask 3-5 individually.

XON, LC2, LC1 are on AUO s302-21 32pin QFN... -
by GrunderPanel shows two good half pictures when alternatively plugged in but poor/ distorted picture when both sides of panel are plugged in. Is this a panel or drive fault?...

by limtk55So this Philips TV has backlight but no image. VGH voltage was 0, so decided to buy a replacement TCON board. Fitted new board to no avail. Now panel PCB control boards have multiple shorted MLCC caps on both sides. TCON ICs hot to the touch suggesting that panel drawing more current than usual (internal short?)
Measured voltages on new TCON as follows :
VGH (29.67V)
VGL1 (-4.97V)
VGL2 (-14.89V)
VCC (3.282V)
VCORE (1.202V)
HVDD (7.95V)
VDD (15.97V)
VIN (11.98V)
VCOM1 (4.25V)
VCOM2 (4.63V)

so i took out one of my spare gigabyte ep35-ds3r mobos from storage for use to do some cpu, ram and video card testing of stuff i bought from ebay and got for free from momaka. he bought 50 e8400 cpus for cheap from ebay some years ago and i decided to help him relieve him of some of his supply since he had waaaay too many!!
what did we say about hoarding too much stuff and depriving others of them?! *cough* socialism *cough* lol!
i had to blow some dust off the board and heatsinks with the datavac as i didnt clean it up before putting it in storage. after finishing...-
