Vizio E55-D0 help identifying "smoked" IC on main board

Hi folks, I have this Vizio E55-D0 that will not turn on. After some searching I found this IC smoked on the Main Board. Unfortunately the numbers are burnt off too. The IC is board number UA5.

Can anyone help me find a number for this? I'd appreciate it.

I looked at a ShopJimmy picture, the printing on the top is supposed to be yellow. I can't see any of it, even with a microscope.

looks like you need the schematic . will need resistor values etc for what connects to it as well .

Yes...looks like lots of casualties. Has anyone had any luck finding schematics for these?

              Time to scour the webs!

The best picture seems to be from SJ, the ic seems to be a TI ldo, these markings look similar (this ic's pinout is different)

The ic might be a Ti TPS54331 or TPS54231, the tps54231 has 12Vin, 3.3vout using a 10µH coil? Check if the resistors are close for this voltage

The TV is put back together for now...I have 60 TVs to tear down. It's first on the list once that's done.

Is it possible to upgrade from a Vestel 17MB97 main board to a 17MB110 Main board?
                        by cheeky2
I suppose the real question is whether the existing pinouts from ether a 17IPS71 psu are cross compatible with a 17IPS12 psu? If they are then the exchange of the main boards should have no issues providing the screen is compatible with both main boards. Obviously you can change the screen configurations easily enough (providing you have the correct files) for the main board. Why may you ask would I do this? Well a lot of the smart features are no longer working on a Hitachi 48HBT62U main board I wish to give it a new lease of life!
Obviously the same LVDS connector for the screen connection...

                        by gavric
Hello, i am working on Vizio M70-C3. It can hardly power on, it takes 15 power button presses or remote. Seems like eeprom problem that I seen before but all reading online says that this tv has power board or main board problem.

When tv powers on vizio V logo shows nice on whole screen. picture 1
When it goes into tv mode it only shows good picture on left side of screen, right is all scrabbled up. pic 2
When i start youtube picture shows on left side fine, right is all scrambled. pic 2
When i click video to start playing picture goes black(like when you change...

Vizio D50u-D1 Dead: PSU or Main Board?
                        by fharris1977
Hi. Anyone who has experience with these vizio sets, which pin on this connector is the standby, the 5V pin? Trying to rule out the PSU before ordering a mainboard. I'm getting 0 Volts on all pins on this connector. Trying to jump the standby and PS ON pins to see if the PSU is functioning. Thanks in advance.

                        Hi.

picked up another TV. This time is a Vizio M65-C1. TV does not turn on. I had repaired another 60 inch vizio , Bad main board.
When power button is pressed, the Power led indicator on the bottom right, turns for a few seconds and then it fades away. No backlight or Vizio logo on screen. Removed back cover and repeated test.
This is the TV This TV is a little different from the Samsung I have worked on. Power supply is on the Left side, Main Bd is on the right side, T-CON , not in the picture is on the bottom. I am assuming that the boards in the middle are the LED...
