    LF320FX4F Mainboard

I'm not a repair man, mostly a board swapper but have been slowly trying to be a board component swapper. I've had some luck with LF320FX4F tvs as I guess they are pretty common. Mom bought one that didn't work, so it sat. I found a cracked one in the dumpster and used the mainboard to fix hers. My nephew found one and I used the dumpster power supply to fix his. The power supply in his got a bad cap and I was able to use my moms as a reference to track that cap down and fix it.

Now I found another on the side of the road and was able to track down a bad cap on the mainboard. IT's working but, it starts up with lines going down the center of the screen and after a few moments it pops up fine.

Does that sound like a capacitor problem?

Well after repeated on/offs the lines actually quit showing up, so not sure what that was about. Also, I dug out the first mainboard from the first tv that I fixed years ago and low and behold the problem with it was two capacitors instead of one in the exact same spot. This mainboard made the power supply chirp, since both caps were bad and the other board that I fixed earlier just wouldn't display when turned on.
