    Samsung horizontal line

Hi all my first post samsung 65'' tv model UN65NU8000 FXZA
    Version FD04
I have the horizontal line about fifteen inches from the top, its not a constant line but broken up, i noticed today close up the lines go all the way to the bottom but they are hard to see... and the color is not right other than that its ok... six months out of warranty... Could it be one of the two main boards if these parts dont work it must be the panel screen, the ribbons look ok .. will these parts fix my problem, the lower board looks like its part of the screen and can not be removed....done the tv re set and trouble shooter....
Repair shop is one hour drive in my truck... i would like to have a go if that dont fix i will leave it the way it is. I can get both boards for $99 from ShopJimmy.com..

high probability that is a panel / driver problem. check the sides to see if it is designed with tabs and then check to see if any of those are compromised.

to me from first photo this line wasn't panel fault or pixel. its much like noise so first i suggest you try..
1- clean the LVDS between Main boards and T-CON boards
2-Clean the ribbon cable between T-CON and panel

Thanks Diah .. when i had the back off i did check clean the ribbons and wires to the 2 boards but did not pull the metal cover to the T-CON and panel ribbons as i was not sure how to get it off... later on i found out.. i was hoping the board wires were the problem.... when i pull the back off again i may as well replace the two boards and check the panel ribbons... then i will be done with it... looking on youtube there is no T-CON on my model, just the two main boards and under my metal plate at the bottom what i see was a long board with ribbons to the panel, can you confirm this

as suggested by diah, input a good source... get a test pattern (eg. smpte color bars or equivalent... can be found on the net as computer files or on some DVD disks as extra material). This will provide a "static display" which can be used to highlight issues to help with seeing what's up with the display. Further, you need to provide a picture of the back of the set showing how everything / cards are connected up.
