In your first picture at post #20 it looks like there`s some sort of liquid residue,it could be flux, and i see a resistor thats not straight.Have you owned the TV from new or is it used/refurbished,have you had any previous repairs done to it.Comment

Re: Samsung LE40A558P3FXXU Colored lines
I see it now R867, looking at the board several of these resistors are not straight R867,R850,R851,R278 there's quite a number of them so I've checked the 12VIN and got 12.4V does that mean the issue lies T-con forward then? component F1 is that going to be a fuse?Comment

I think I understand what you're saying, it's to hot to spend time at the PC to study the pictures to look for the fault, is there anything I could do to help with the looking?Comment

Your meter should show minus sign in front of the number being display on the meter for the VGL reading to indicating that the Voltage is negative polarity.Never stop learning

It's obvious that if you have silicone bumpers you have to remove it, search the web for images with the TCON code, you'll find the picture with as-15 visible, check images from https://spares2repair.co.ukComment

by KjellAfter installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).
Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...08-01-2025, 09:15 AM -

by NairolfHello,
I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.
Here’s what I have tried so far:- Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
- Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
- Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.
From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...3 Photos08-24-2025, 03:47 AM -
by vincentedelHello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.
I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...-

by ManucslHello.
My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.
Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊
