    Samsung LE40A558P3FXXU Colored lines

Good evening, I'm looking for some help with my daughters TV please, it has recently developed an issue, When you turn on the unit you get colored lines running top to bottom of the screen, I have carried out some very basic investigation and googling from what I can gather this may be an issue with the T-con, I have check and re seated all the cables running from the av to the t con and the t con to the panel I read about several people have this issue with other models of Samsung and a temp fix by flexing the pcb av or t con until the lines clear, this I have tried with out success, before I go any further I thought I would as for some guidance from you guys.

    Thank you

could you show us the issue with pictures or movie.?
did you tried to feed the set with different source of signal such HDMI or playing video material with USB to see if the issue remain? also did you tried to reset the firmware of the TV?
also if you disconnect one side ribbon cable between T-CON and panel.. did you got clear white color on half side panel or the lines remain??

however this test of ribbon removing sgould be done with signal feed cable or sat or areal.. to see the next half how the picture look.. you can do it again with signal..

i am aware the daughter did clean the screen with spray or wet cloth which some of liquid drops down on the panel PCB boards and make damage to one or more small SMT ceramic caps.. or as usual most time we find these caps got shorted with out any liquid damage too..

so do the test again with signal.. if same result go to inspect the 2 panel PCB or post clear photo of both side over here... good luck

I'm not aware of any cleaning, retest with signal feed = same result. what are you referring to by 2 panel PCB? I shall post some pictures of the T-con and av boards now, I can not see any obvious signs of component failure though you might see something I can not, thank you for assisting me with this.

I did find some debris on the t-con connector cleaning it made no difference

Is the stain on that component normal?

2 Ribbon cable which going out from T-CON to the Panel, they are connected on PCB boards of the panel.. take the metal cover of them.. you will see 2 boards left and right... here are the issue..

In theese models tcon is on the top so cleaning damage is almost impossibile, the first thing to do in theese cases is to check main voltages on tcon, much probably something's wrong, if all ok then processor need reballing.

After installing Linux, I can no longer enter the BIOS of my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X3C) laptop. When pressing [F2] during boot I simply get a black screen. Same thing when pressing [F10] and choosing "Setup" from the "App Menu" tab. Apparently this is a relatively common issue with Samsung laptops of that generation, but unfortunately i haven't been able to resolve the issue (yet).

Things i've tried so far; reinstalled Windows 10, checked for redundant boot entries, tried to factory reset using the emergency keyhole, attempted to clear the NVRAM by physically...

Samsung DM32D – Red LED blinks 5 times, won’t start (possible mainboard issue)

                                          Hello,

                                          I have a Samsung DM32D display.
When I try to power it on, the red LED blinks 5 times and nothing happens—the unit won’t start.

Here’s what I have tried so far:
                                          1. Disconnected the cable between the mainboard and the power supply → the backlight turns on.
                                          2. Disconnected the main T-CON ribbon cable → same issue as before, the LED still blinks 5 times.
                                          3. Disconnected one of the two T-CON ribbons to the panel (tested each one separately) → same issue, the LED blinks 5 times.

From these tests, I suspect the problem might be on the mainboard. Could anyone...

Samsung SyncMaster 740n Phase Control Issue

                                          Hello,
I'm having an issue with the Samsung 740n's phase control setting. When I use the automatic adjustment, it sets the value to around 54 (with a range of 0-100), and the picture looks clear and sharp. However, after some time—like after playing a game—the text starts to look blurry. When I auto-adjust again, it may increase the value to 80, and everything becomes sharp once more. Yet, after a while, whether it's a few hours or a day later, the same blurriness returns, and I have to adjust it again.

I'm using the Samsung 740n monitor drivers instead of the default plug-and-play...

                                          Hello.

My TV is a QE65Q800TATXXC Samsung TV.

Issue : When you plug the 220V, voltages are OK on the power board and you can hear the click from the relay, but TV is not starting when power button is pressed. Red led is blinking when you press power button. But no images or sound ( Back-light is off )
Then if you disconnect the cable from the main board to the power supply, the TV back-light turns on.
Any ideas to check would be very appreciated 😊
