UN50F6400 turns off after exactly 54s

Anyone has an idea what's going on with this TV?
IMO the mainboard is gone crazy.

The TV turns on and works for exactly 54s, picture, sound, inputs all ok. Then turns off after exactly 54s.

    What I did so far:
    1. Measured all PSU voltages, all good
    2. Removed cable from PSU to Mainboard, backlight turns on and stays on. Put cable back in place.
    3. measured BLU_ON, PSU_ON and OD_ON. BLU_ON goes off first, then PSU_ON after 50ms, the PSU shuts down
    4. one at a time, removed LVDS, removed bluetooth module, removed Wifi module, no change. Put cables back in place.
    5. Removed BLU_ON, PSU_ON, OD_ON and the four PWM signals from cable between PSU and mainboard, backlight remains on but picture disappears (mainboard shuts down) , need to power cycle to revive mainboard
    6. put all signals back in place. heated whole mainboard, no change
    7. freeze sprayed whole board, no change

The problem does seem to be related to either some watchdog function on the mainboard or maybe in its firmware loading process it gets to a point where there is a bug.

I can get into the service menu but all ER-counters are 0 except "power failure" which is at a fixed number of 116. There is a "debug" tab in the service menu but not sure what that could tell me.

Downloaded firmware update from the net (is from May 2020) but the update option in the main menu is greyed out. There would also be no time to update the firmware.

The new FW would be T-MST12AKUC 2230.0 while the currently installed seems to be 2204.3. So shouldn't be a problem of a recent automatic update, I guess. Is there a way to update FW starting directly from USB drive without going through the main menu?

I was unsucessful in finding a schematic for this board. I doubt it would be very useful anyways.

    Thanks

MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable
      by Stephen
MacBook Pro 14" M1 Pro Turns on functions then turns off when I plug in USB C cable to reset the computer. I disconnect the battery fully and then reconnect it and it won't turn back on. After letting it sit for a day I plug the battery back up, and the MagSafe 3 cable and it powers on and stays ons, once I plug in a USB C cable into the port closes to the MagSafe port it turns off and the Amber light turns off and won't turn on. No water damage, nothing, I want to do a DFU restore to wipe the computer since the customer stated they did an update and ever since it just decided to not work...

LG L192WS-BN backlight turns off after 1 second
      by www
I am testing an old LG L192WS-BN monitor I have that gives an image, but has a backlight issue. When you turn it on the backlight turns on 1 second and it turns off, turns on again, 1 second and it turns off and stays off. Using a flashlight I can see there's still an image.

I replaced a bulged cap on the main board, but made no difference. I also got another exact same model monitor that has a broken ccfl (the connector got ripped from the panel and the main screen connector is also broken so I can't use this panel to test), tried using the main board from this one, same issue....

Dell Latitude 7420 - Touchscreen not working since Mainboard replacement
      by Mirenia
      Hi everyone,

I've got a little "problem child": my Dell Latitude 7420 2-in-1, which had a faulty mainboard.
I replaced it, but ever since, the touchscreen no longer works — and honestly, I’m running out of ideas…

In Windows Device Manager, I just see an I2C HID Device with error code 10. Sporadically, the touchscreen is recognized correctly for just a few seconds, but I haven’t been able to determine under which circumstances this happens.

The touchscreen also doesn’t work in UEFI/BIOS, although it’s enabled...

MASTER TL240 and new mainboard LW36BKC01
      by orcic
      Hello,
I have an old MASTER TL-240 LED TV. Since it stopped working and it had a DVB-T receiver that is being dismissed in Italy, I've decided to replace the mainboard with a DVB-T2 one.
The original problem was that when switching on the TV, the power LED was transitioning from red to steady blue, without showing video or audio.
After checking some voltages on the power supply board (HKL-240101-B Rev. 1.4, HKL from now on) someone suggested me to replace the mainboard.
Now I have some doubts about how to connect the new mainboard to the old power supply.
