    Samsung UN60FH6003F backlight issue

So i have a samsung UN60FH6003F with backlight issues. When i first got the set the backlights would not come on at all but i could see a faint picture on screen. So i assumed and rightfully so ordered backlights from shopjimmy and replaced the set of backlights in the tv. I then tested the set and only part of the backlights come on. There is also a high pitched noise coming out of the tv when i plug it into power.

Could this be bad backlights from shopjimmy?

If you want to repair TVs, you should get a backlight tester. Probably a bad connection somewhere and you can check continuity with your multimeter. If you want to confirm the strips are good, you will need to swap them into the circuit that is working. Looks like two strings based on 4 wires going to the backlights.

I tested the strips with the backlight tester and they worked. The only time they don't is when i power on the tv. I can update with a picture of what the backlights are doing.

Power the strips from the LED connector that goes to the power supply. With 4 wires, there will be 2 strings. This will confirm connectivity from that point.

The power supply does show browning from heat. Basic checks will be for the diodes and transistors in that section to confirm they are not shorted.

This is what i am getting out of the new backlights that were put in.

When i use the backlight tester on the led connector the backlights light up fully on testing both strands at 112 volts.
