Re: Insignia NS-43DR620NA18 standby light blinking
A little update. I just went back down to my workbench and noticed that I’d left the TV plugged in for 10-15 minutes. I pressed the power button and I heard some audio through the speakers and then the standby light did two quick flashes with a pause between. Trying the remote, adjusting volume and pressing home button produces sound from the speakers. I was also able to verify that there is some words on the screen using the flashlight method.
I measured voltage at the backlight connector. The +VLED pins have 27.9V on each pin. Tried with the wiring plugged in and unhooked. No change.
I retested voltages at the main board wiring connector. The only change was the two +5V pins now read .3v

Insignia NS-43DR620NA18 standby light blinking
I've got this Insignia NS-43DR620NA18 that has a blinking standby light after you push the power button (via remote or TV) but will not power on. No backlight, no image (flashlight test). I see that ShopJimmy offers a repair "kit" that replaces ALL boardsbut I'd like to try to pinpoint the exact issue if possible.
The PS fuse has 120VAC going through it. No bulging caps or discoloration can be seen. The following voltages were measured at the PS connector with the wiring still connected to the main board. Voltages in parenthesis were measured after power button pressed.
- ON/OFF - 0 (3.3v)
- NC - 0
- +16V_A - 0
- GND - 0
- GND - 16.5V
- +16V - 16.5V
- +16V - 16.5V
- +5V - 0.1V
- DIM - 0 (1.9V)
- PS_ON - 3.4V
- +16V_A - 0
- GND - 0
- GND - 16.5V
- +16V - 16.5V
- +16V - 16.5V
- +5V - 0.1V
I'm not sure where to go from here. It's odd that the two GND pins have 16.5v on them. Not sure if the board was misprinted or if there's something shorted to ground? I've also attached photos of the PS board (from ShopJimmy) as it's a clearer photo than I took, but mine looks the same.

by mecha1166I am working on a QN750Q8FNBFXZA. Dead except the standby light. It blinks what appears to be 1 3 1 2. 1 long blink, pause, 3 short, pause, 1 long, pause, 2 short, pause, repeat. A service manual would be very helpful, or if anyone knows these error codes. Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I got a Samsung The Frame 55 inch TV for free from uncle cause it is not turning on anymore. I am in the second year of training as an electrician so I have knowledge already but I am far away from to be a pro.
The TV has Standby but ist not turning on. A Friend of mine owns a 50 inch Frame TV so I checked the One Connect Box and the One Connect Cable there. Both are good and working normally. I have opened the TV case and measured some voltages on the Board.
What I already found is that the 12.8V are not an the connector to the main board connector to the power... -

by AleMontiHi everyone,
I'm trying to troubleshoot and repair this old LG OLED curved TV, model 55EG910V.
I did some basic troubleshooting and reviewed most related posts here, but I wasn't able to isolate the issue.
The TV shut itself off during playback and never came back to life - the standby light remains off. My dad claims that it has happened a few times in the past but the issue resolved itself after some time. Not this one.
After checking the basics I did the following:- I measured all voltages and as expected the only active supply is the 3.5V standby. It

I got the tv in spring 2024. At that time it started, then ran 60 sec and poweroff. Seemed like reboot issue. I didn't have time and room to check it in summer so I plugged it in and now the standby light is on. I press button on remote, standby light goes off and tries to start?. No picture or backlight on LCD. I thought about removing diodes like in this thread: https://www.badcaps.net/forum/troubl...sung-qled-q60r... - Loading...
