    I gave up dismantling it, it's very likely I'd damage the panel now.

    So I looked for images of the backsite and found some:

          How do you think you can test the whole tv if you have broken the screen?

            what? the screen was never broken.

            as I said, TV was unused a few months and it just didn't want to start.

            btw, baking the a board didn't help.

                    That's pretty close, you might need to get it to 222 for a bit.

                      Lead free solder melts at 217°C. Ideally you want to add some flux around the processor to help with the reflowing.
