question about the tv back ight

    hi there ,
say that you have 47 lg tv which has 10 leds are bad and needed to be replaced, the best way to change all the strips, after measure the single led voltage you found the its 6v led each, but you do not have the 6v leds, and you you alot of 3v led strips , is there any way to convert the power suppy to work on 3v leds? installing double the strips was of 3v leds not good idea
    thanks

not a good idea. its easier to get the correct leds that are needed and save yourself a huge headache.

Go with the correct LEDs to begin with. If you have 6V LEDs on the strip, replace them with 6V units. Double check the LED pad to make sure they match what you are trying to fix. eBay has 100 for $13... https://www.ebay.com/itm/223494097714

I recently purchased these LEDs - they work well and made it my second garage TV. I replaced all 50 LEDs off of an Insignia TV.
