Help identifying 5-pin chip on Soniq main board

Chip U5 on main board LED64801-S1M1A of Soniq E48W13A is clearly blown, but I have no idea what it is. Can't find a schematic anywhere.

I can vaguely make out some remains of letters that look like "D3R8", but I'm not confident that's what it says.

I think you have to do some tracing to see what U5 supplies. Clean that board up with IPA so we can see better where the pins go. It looks like a buck (step down) converter to me, it is fed from U2 3.3v LDO. It may be something like 1.8v dc to dc converter. 5 pins should be Vin, gnd, Vout, enable and a FB pin.

    Something similar like this: https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...7c27117b1c.pdf

It is hard to guess but it "might" be a LRC brand LR8555
D3 is a ldo regulator, and the R8 could be date code information.

Just a guess but it looks like a dc/dc converter. Most smd regulators appear to be 3 pins plus tab. Can't quite read it but looks like A13A or pehaps 413A?

Willing to help but I'm no expert.

          Could be a AEROSEMI M3406 800ma, 2V-6V Input, 1.5Mhz Synchronous Step-Down Converter

I removed the chip and traced the pads on the board with the help of my multimeter. The same colour square indicates a path on the PCB in the photo. Given that pins 1 and 4 of U5 are shorted, that doesn't really fit with the LM3671, but does make sense for something like the M3406, where pins 1 and 4 are Vin and En. FYI the voltage at these points (with the chip removed) is 5.13V.

              Hi,
Maybe a little bit too late but may it helps someone else.
I have take a picture from my LED64801-S1M1A board.

              Looks like "LD3KH".
